Well, I don't have the game yet, so I thought they kept him in Smash 4. Still, I'm pretty disappointed they only left Charizard in the game, because I think he's the most overrated Pokémon next to Pikachu (And for Pikachu, that's kind of understandable since he's the mascot of the series)

I thought charizard was a new character in smash 4?

Don't preorder these from FYE! I drove 1.5 hours yesterday to an FYE to order the full wave 4 set. They took the money, gave receipt and told me these would release in July. Today the store called and told me they can't do preorders. At first they said only FYE stores that sell game items can do reserves but the store I went to sells games. Best bet is to just wait for Gamestop to open preorders. Don't even let FYE in the Amiibo world.

Yeah they said that the Super Mario wave will be easier to find in store, but I prefer to secure it online and just wait home for my package, just in case.
 

Great, it is not like tons of unsold Mario crew figures clogging up shelves already, now they are going to be sitting next to these variants. Good luck getting any of the other characters, they will likely be short packed.

Heh, no kidding.  I think this entire wave will be unicorns, unless Wario surprises.  Maybe Pac-Man, too, but that's iffy.  Still, I do like the look of the SMB line so I can see myself getting the whole set of those at some point.  A lot of people are saying they look simple and boring compared to the Smash ones (minus planking Luigi, of course), but I like 'em.  But Toad's a must for me - been my favourite SMB character since SMB2.

I'll probably pick up toad because there isnt one in smash bros and yoshi only because he is my smash bros main

I'll be getting the Ness Amiibo no matter what. I don't care if I have to slit some throats or pay insane scalper prices or be up at the crack of dawn to preorder one, I will have my Ness Amiibo.

Maybe I'm being naive, but I just don't see any of those Super Mario amiibos being limited... I have a feeling Toad will be replenished.

They should make them out of actual gold and silver.  THAT would be fun!  And I'm not even into precious metal investing.  Still, a Mario-sized amiibo made out of pure gold would weigh, what in troy ounces?

Preordered the Mario Party bundle today along with 2 of each SMB Amiibo. I wanted extra Toads but there was a limit of 2 each. If it's like everything else, in store preorders will open tomorrow.

I guess toads sold out. Glad I got one .

I went after work and picked up another Mario party bundle and 2 more toads. I have four Toads preordered, 2 to keep and 2 if someone pops up needing one.
