Eww you beat it?! I thought that game had coodies this year and that was why no one wanted to beat it.

I wanted to leave it so someone else would beat and enjoy a terrific game.
But no one stepped up for that.

How does your formula work for points? It looks like you give it points based on in what order the game was beaten in for that year. How is Race Drivin an 8 point game and Wolfchild a 7 point game when both of them have an accumulated point value of 2673 unless you only have a certain amount of games at each point tier. I'm not trying to criticize what you have done. I'm genuinely curious.

You also have Super Caeser's Palace as a 9 point game hanging out with a bunch of 8 point games. That looks like a simple typo though.

Super Nova is done using the top route as requested by the list.
I guess this is time to go back to Super Bases Loaded 2.

There is roughly 71 titles per point bracket (with 4 left over, I think I gave 7-10 an extra one).  That is static.  Then every game is ranked based on how fast it was cleared each year, with an equal number of total points given each year.  Which is why you see the unbeaten games have different values for different years.

There's probably some typos, like I noticed Star Trek TNG was not registering a clear this year because I removed the extra colon from one list but not the other.  SCP could be something similar.  And I'll have to look at Race Drivin' but it might just be right on the cutoff and shares a point total with another game.

Judge Dredd is done and I have two more games to go on Super Bases Loaded.
I will beat it in the next hour or so and then I am done for the year.   It was a good year to beat SNES games.

Super Bases Loaded 2 is done with a 13 games season total.
I don't think the 168 games season ending is any different.
Super Bases Loaded 3 will be pain to beat because it is 168 games for a full season, and baseball is so damn boring. But I will get start on it on Jan 1st.
And with that I am done for the year.   Thanks for hosting this, Brock!

Oh damn... Seems I miscalculated and ended up with 209 games beaten rather than 210.

Oh, I just double checked it. You missed Scooby-Doo Mystery, which I posted last page.
That puts me at 210 games and I am definitely done for the year.

That's really remarkable, Bea.

I've been working on NES games for over two years now and I have 68 finishes to show for it.

That's 3 times what I put up, which itself was more than any other player has ever done.  More than any player's all-time aside from ALTQQ as well

As far as I know the biggest totals across all consoles are:

210 - Bea
150 - Brock
124ish - Crabmaster
100-110 - Bea, Brock, DoctorNick, nerdynebraskan, coop (S-16)

Well anyways, thanks for everyone for making this the best year (by far) across every metric. I obviously added SFC to 2018 to keep things fresh, and so we aren't directly competing against that 553, which could be a little overwhelming.

I myself will mostly be targetting the games I've never beat as I continue my effort to write and rank every game on the system, so we'll need some new champions to step up

Games I plan on hitting sooner rather than later in 2018:
Legend
Spike McFang
Captain Commando
Secret of Evermore
Various Koei games
Various Western-ish RPGs
MVP Football

SFC games I have ready to go for 2018:
Final Fantasy V
Secret of Mana 2
Super Bomberman 3
Super Bomberman 4

And that is not considering the NES games I claimed for the NES thread this year as well and the ones I did for the contest and didn't claim.
I need to take tomorrow to tabulate all the games I beat this year, for I had an objective of beating 365 games through the year. I wonder how close I got to that.

Fixed some errors. arnpoly cracks the top 25, and I had an extra clear for 9 points for Night Driver

Hey hey hey!

I plan on putting some effort into these Super Scope games in 2018.

I just got Secret of Mana in the Secret of Santa and I want to beat that early on next year. Adding Super Famicom to the list is giving me a great excuse to play through Little Magic again, I'll handle that one for sure.

I win the efficiency score this year, all green 10 pointers

I'm not getting to end of Utopia and will shelve it for at least 6 months to work on the Koeipocalypse. Maybe someone else will find it interesting next year.
