This week you have to play until last life in order to show progress.

Edit: nevermind it did not save. Oh well, time to retry later.

Could've, should've done better. I just didn't have enough time this week. I've beaten this game before and I could have definitely done it again if I hadn't been so busy this week. Maybe next time.

-------------------------
Thanks for writing. I apologize for the delay in responding to your email during this busy time of year.
In regard to your email, it is great to hear that you have found a copy of Perfect Dark for the Nintendo 64. Perfect dark was a first person shooter game that was released in May of 2000. I personally enjoyed this game a lot during my mid-teen years since it allows for up to four players to play at one time. All the Perfect Dark cartridges were black.

I hope this information is what you are looking for.

-
Response I received from Nintendo customer support when I asked if they knew any thing about a black Perfect Dark cart.

I like this game, but if I make more than one or two runs in a row, I get sick of it and make dumb mistakes.   I would have never tried this without this contest, and I'm glad I discovered it.

Glad to see you post!

I've been unusually busy and barely grabbing participation scores for a few weeks.  I had some more time this week, but still not as much as I'd like, especially for a "new to me" game that I enjoy.

Thanks! I had been playing all week and intended to post a game completion score. Things got busy and I literally had about an hour to make a last-minute run. I was shooting for 5+ million, but I ran out of time and had to push. This was the result. Not my best for this game, but it appears it was good enough for top 8. I'll have to look more closely because I've been away for a few days

You did well. I believe you knocked poor Jim down to 9th.

I came so close to third place today, but then I didn't feel like trying again just to get one more point. Runs of this game take forever.

EDIT: Never mind. I didn't see that tables updated his score to something huge. I'm not surprised tho'.

If I'm looking right it looks like I'm down too 10 which really fucking blows. And that puts link in 9th? Who is this link guy? Does the coveted picture really go too someone that just posted a score and didn't participate in the thread at all?!? That really really blows.

Mwahahahahaha! I am safe!

There's still time for me to get knocked down 2 pegs.
And more than enough time for you to post a top 3 score!

Work all day. I'm done.
I will be rooting for you score to hold 7th then!

Maybe? lol

Would you be willing to scan and email me a nice copy of the first full-color drawing that you want to send to Bea?  I am honestly going to print it and put it in my game room as a momento for playing this game in the contest this year

If I would have won it,I had already made up my mind that I would have framed it and hung it up in my game room.

I used to participate a lot more, but the threads drag on far too long and frequently for me to keep up these days. I barely have enough time to even play the games.

And that win puts him ahead of me again.
We were somehow tied at 12 wins since last week.

I'm sure both of you will pass me on the career wins list by the end of the year. That's what I get for being terrible at video games.

Inconceivable!
The only feasible win I see on the upcoming games for me is on Side Pocket.

The only contest on the schedule that I think I'd have a chance at winning would be Contra if it's high score rules since I've been able to max out the score before. I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being a one loop, low score contest considering how you can just stand in place and point rack enemies all day.

I have maxed the score on Contra before as well, yeah.
But that was back in 2012!
I will try to pull that off again if they go with a highest score rule set.

Congratulations, it's quite the task to accomplish! I think it took me 7 full loops and about 3 hours to max out the score when I did it and that was several years ago as well. If I recall correctly, the slowdown from all of the extra enemies really gets bad around the fourth loop, which was more of a challenge than the actual game.

Scores updated.

Welcome Redneck_RN, for joining in this week.

Also, crazy that the tall guy's early (and still impressive) score netted him 7th overall this week. Each week these scores are impressive!

Ninjistar may earn a sniping crown yet ...
