i agree all the help and friendlies takes most of the enjoyment out of theese contest for me anyway :/ 

i dont mind competing against someone who has taken the time effort and thought into achieving a high score. seems lame to just give out the best info to everyone.

I did okay the first six stages but I kept screwing up on stages 7 and 8.

I had fun with Klax. It helps to know that there are predictable patterns and that the game is far less random than it seems. This is how Bea and I were able to have those scores. I had to put in some hours to figure out what to do though.

And the bloody everdrive will only be delivered tomorrow.  
I will do some practice runs on the emulator to shake the rust off, but I will only post an score when the everdrive gets here, tomorrow morning.

If I recall, you get a massive score for beating the final boss compared to what you accumulate over the course of the game.

So while it's good to keep score low during the game (and certainly this will be the de facto tiebreaker among those who no-death the game), in general it's better to keep the denominator high by not dying.

 

You get extra lives from points so having a decent score over 700k while not dying seems the way to go. That is how that dude got the top score in the previous contest.

Yes, it still count in case you can't post another score. You will just have a score of 9,999,990 per default.
