Is this actual game play screen shots or just random custom Zelda II sprites you made in photoshop and placed around on a page?

A short video and more info would be nice

I'll comment once I know what I'm looking at. This is unique in the zelda 2 style, or it's a very visually remastered zelda 2.

If they aren't just mockups, I'm going to guess it's an ASM/graphic hack of Super Mario World.

I think it's a mockup, or something else, because SMW wouldn't have you hanging on anything, unless it was already there as a chain, the pic looks like he stuck it up there himeself.

They're just cool mock-ups. I use my "magic eye" and see that some tiles, while they do look great, are mainly placed in such a way that the correct tile spacing is "off". There's some other things too, but the spacing and the overlaying is easier to pick out.

Other than all that though, it's still pretty cool.

The physics are already there, there would be no need for a new engine to achieve something like that. It'd be like hanging off a vine, just graphically different. You'd basically just need to code a way to shoot it.

At any rate, it could just be a mockup since the first post was rather vague.
