Oh, please.
Red has a 1,480,690. I am miles away from his score and I have no hope to get mine anywhere that low.
At most I can cut 50K points from mine since I went with a very safe strategy for the final boss, but one that adds a lot of points.
 

Yeah I noticed right after replying that I misread and deleted my post. Red's score is insane.

It is absolutely insane.
He is clear a master of TGL. This is awesome.

I still played a couple more times. I was doing pretty well the first attempt, but lost in Area 9 trying to dodge those exploding blue plants instead of destroying them.  On the second attempt, I managed to knock a bit more than 50,000 points off my previous score.  Score updated.  I'm done now.

That is a really impressive score. Congratulations. It takes a lot of skill and patience to get it that low.
I guess I better down a shot of rum and try to lower my score to high 1,4 millions so it doesn't look that bad.

Score updated page 1. I don't like this game much.

Man I had a good run going in Area 13 I think and those homing pieces that come out of the red flowers just kept circling back around and killed me. Took the wind right out of my sails. I really did like this game though. Wished I would've started playing this one years earlier as it is a fun shoot 'em up. Some pretty impressive things going on onscreen for a NES title.
