Hell yeah, don't have to play those shitty levels ! Gonna win this week! NERRRRRRRRRDS!!!😜

When I owned this game I always played it "arcade mode" so I wouldn't have to play the dungeon levels. I did beat the game a few times and this is a low score/progression contest, so maybe I can find some time this week to play along.

I've always hated this game, even though I have a mint CIB copy of it. I promise, I won't actually get first on this. I'll play for participation and move on to other games 🤣

I think the programmers for this game and Bayou Billy must have shared notes. Why do all these bosses have 4 billion HP? And the programmers knew it was stupid so instead of fixing it they just jacked the health/chip drop frequency way up. Pretty stupid as they could have just simply reduced the amount of boss HP. 🙄

That's the way the game plays, you depend a lot on health-chip drops anywhere, be it in the top view exploration zones, the shooter stages or any difficult bosses. I really don't get why you put this on programmers' stupidity.

Well instead of relying so heavily on health/chip drops, the programmers could have simply lowered the amount of HP required to kill enemies and bosses. It just seems so unnecessary and it turns the boss battles into endurance matches to where the strategy is to simply survive long enough until you get health drops, repeat. I do like this game and the theme is super cool, but that part of the game play I feel that they definitely dropped the ball.

By all means, you are entitled to your opinion, but I hardly see this has a 'problem' that could have been 'solved'. I personally never felt the boss battles were that long until pretty far in the game where it is obviously long, and the endurance concept isn't mindless at this point.

Like I said, overall I really do like this game. I think it's cool and fun,but it could be even more fun had the HP of the bosses toned down a bit and therefore not had to have the health/chip drop rate so high.

I'm not familiar with this game. Why do we have to play stages in a certain order?

I might have to settle for participation this week.

I know that I've heard the music in the first shooting stage before. I don't know if it's a Youtube video or a podcast or another game. It sounds so familiar.

Sad, I know, but unless I am somewhat more normal till next Saturday, participation will be it.

Hey, Vice Project Doom next week. I 1cc'd it last year, but I haven't played it in months.

I'm glad we'll be playing something that is at least similar to Ninja Gaiden.

Never played it. It's being played on my birthday and a win would be a great birthday present but I know no one will let that happen.

I like that game quite a bit and have hopes for a top 5 finish.
It will be fun!

It's sort of like Ninja Gaiden crossed with Bayou Billy with the first person shooting and driving stages. Except this time the driving stages are so much easier, lol.

The free time is pretty scarce nowadays. I only managed to get about three games in during Tecmo Super Bowl week, so if I get any time to play this, I doubt I'd put up anything impressive. I have cleared the game in arcade mode, but that was about two years ago, so I'd probably be lucky if I could get much beyond the participation requirement.
