Hey everyone.  This week's contest is going to be P.O.W.  Here are the rules:

  • 1 life only
  • No point racking allowed
  • Participation: 10,000

The contest ends Sunday, 9/11/11 at 10 PM NA time.  Your user name must be in the picture for your score to be valid.  The entire TV screen, or computer monitor if you are playing on an emulator, MUST be in the picture for the score to be valid.  No partial screenshots will be considered or accepted.  Good luck everyone and have fun!

Ugh, I terribly suck at this game, hell I won't even make it through the first stage before my first death. Participation only for me this week, if I play it.

I haven't played that game in ages and I have a feeling I may not get very far.

meh, this is not going to be easy, I am going for participation point at least.

Anyone else having a hard time reaching the participation points? I may drop it a little bit if everyone is having a hard time with this game. It's a little tougher than I remember it being.

I don't think it is too hard. Yes it is a challenge...but that is good. If you get past the first boss helicopter you should have no problem breaking the 10K mark.
I have not done it yet, but real close a few times....so it is only a matter of time now...

The participation score is doable but just takes a few attempts to pull it off so I would leave it be.

Yes and no. You just need to play it a couple times and actually try for this one, which I think is just fine. Makes you actually participate to get the point this week

Participation only for me on this one...I hate this game, one of those very few that annoys me so much I want to throw it just to appease my anger. One thing that has always puzzled me is how I can enjoy and beat a game like Bayou Billy, but can barely get anywhere in this one, guess there's just something about this one (not sure what) that makes me not care about even giving my all to get good at it. Now that I play it again, makes me wonder why I even own this one again. But then I've never enjoyed any of SNK's games, aside from Crystalis.

I do the same thing too.  Helps me figure out what's coming up so I can better prepare myself the next time I start over.

Holy cow this game is hard. Had to work at it, but I finally got past the first boss..and level 2 turned out easier than 1...how is that?

I've never really played this game before, but after many attempts I managed to get this score. I don't think I'll be trying much more, this game is hard as nails.

the 2nd boss is a beast though... He takes 3 lives almost every time I die to him due to cheap ass grenade placement.

^Glad I'm not the only one that thinks that guy is a beatch! LOL I can dodge the gun blasts but I always get nailed by a grenade then I get frustrated and have to quite for awhile.
