I think the programmers for this game and Bayou Billy must have shared notes. Why do all these bosses have 4 billion HP? And the programmers knew it was stupid so instead of fixing it they just jacked the health/chip drop frequency way up. Pretty stupid as they could have just simply reduced the amount of boss HP. 🙄
That's the way the game plays, you depend a lot on health-chip drops anywhere, be it in the top view exploration zones, the shooter stages or any difficult bosses. I really don't get why you put this on programmers' stupidity.
Well instead of relying so heavily on health/chip drops, the programmers could have simply lowered the amount of HP required to kill enemies and bosses. It just seems so unnecessary and it turns the boss battles into endurance matches to where the strategy is to simply survive long enough until you get health drops, repeat. I do like this game and the theme is super cool, but that part of the game play I feel that they definitely dropped the ball.
By all means, you are entitled to your opinion, but I hardly see this has a 'problem' that could have been 'solved'. I personally never felt the boss battles were that long until pretty far in the game where it is obviously long, and the endurance concept isn't mindless at this point.
Like I said, overall I really do like this game. I think it's cool and fun,
but it could be even more fun had the HP of the bosses toned down a bit and therefore not had to have the health/chip drop rate so high.
Man, one more word about this and you're banned
I hate the blue eyeball boss. I can't get past this damn thing. Those stupid seaweed lasers or whatever take off half of your life if you just barely touch them. Wtf...
If anyone beats this, hats off to you. I don't see how I am going to get anywhere close.
This is one of your favorites gui,how about some helpful tips?
Indeed, that boss is an a-hole, and I think there are two tougher versions of him ahead as well. If I remember correctly (and I say that because even if I normally play the game once per year, I keep forgetting my strategies for the tougher bosses) there's a special weapon that destroys his seaweed lasers. I think it is the one looking like a simple bullet, which you can only use in the shooter stages (but it doesn't matter now cause you're playing with the TGL code). It shoots two thin laser rays straight ahead. Try that, and if it doesn't work I might have other suggestions.
