Well, you see Santa... attacking a poor, defenceless, harmless 6'1'' woman who has pumping heavy iron as a hobby on the very first day of her red moon days tend to be a bad idea.  
And sweet update. Those are always fun to read.

Now back to the game in question, I will dedicate some hours today to try to understand how the RNG works here. If I can't make it far, I will make sure to beat the RNG into submission so I can post a decent, top 8 score.

Update: I had 950,390 by stage 32 and I f!cking blew it! I should be in the top 3. Christ.

This was the most painful "almost there, but not quite" contest moment for me.

Oh well, bring on Battletoads. I doubt I'll do any better than this.

I don't know how you guys are getting that high of scores at such low levels I must just keep getting the shit end of the stick. .....every run I've had to get passed level 50 to even break like 800k

I've just been trying to get as high of a score as I can as quickly as I can, haha. I might try to beat the game later on. I bet it gets very frustrating in the later stages with lots of having to bounce to reach high spots.
