I'm not a Technic fan, but that Porsche is certainly cool. They even made a full size one for the release of the set.

Not going to lie, I kind of want that set but I have nowhere to put it.

Was going through old photos and found an alternate photo from that day....this is still my favorite Lego set ever and I still have it assembled.

After video games, Legos probably provide me with the most/best childhood memories. I wouldn't mind collecting these as well, but I have to draw the line somewhere. With that said, I can't wait until my son is old enough to start playing with Legos.

Have you guys noticed all the Legos that are on sale at Walmart right now? I passed a lot of Star Wars, Lego City and other sets that were 50% off. Bigger sets too.

Been into Lego's just a bit longer than NES...

Finally found the last set I've wanted for the year! Lego Marvel Superheroes Doctor Strange! It has a lot of cool play features ( by the looks of the building part of the set I think they took inspiration from the Lego big bang theory set)

That set is sweet, I like the tentacle monster coming out of the wall.

I finally built my Sandcrawler, pretty massive set.

So they unveiled the new Death Star yesterday, and it's basically the exact same as the previous one, but with updated minifigs, and a few minor color changes. Pretty lame, I was hoping for one that would close and look more like a sphere than a playset.

Its like wtf it just retired for like what half a year?. The second hand market price really isnt any more than it was on lego.com, and you had 8 years to buy the other one. People are just freaking stupid.

And the price will be much higher for the new one with the Disney licensing now.

yup and got an inflated piece count for the exact same set to "justify" the increase.

what a disspointing year. Only good thing is that slave 1 in january. Hoth UCS is a combination of like 4 prior sets. New xwing was a recolor. Death star exactly the same. So many small playsets for force awakens over nice model ship type sets. New MF was even pretty close to the previous one with a little more different colors for wear and tear appearance.
 

The Slave 1 is one of my favourite sets, so it got the year off to a good start, otherwise all i've picked up was a few older sets like the Sandcrawler. There's supposed to be a UCS Snowspeeder but it doesn't look like it'll come out this year if at all.

Hoth was so bad, that set got shit on everywhere. Got a UCS tag and it's just a bunch of crappy little playsets.....i'm still upset at that one.
