Of course my favorite episode is where there's an evil enchantress who does evil dances, and if you look in her eyes you'll be put in trances, and what will she do? she'll stir up an evil brew and gobble you up in a big tasty stew so.... watch out.

I love me some Ponies, but fanfics aren't my thing. I have to say though, give it a shot, you may surprise yourself. ^^

My pre-watching FiM self would have kicked my post-watching FiM self's ass if I had said to myself, "Hey, you're gonna be totally obsessed with Ponies after October."

I'm sorry, I just couldn't get into it. =\ My girlfriend and her friend is into it, but after seeing it, I won't go as far as becoming a mad fan about it. It's funny but just... meh.

Maybe it's the sign of the new generation? When I was young, I know if I were parading around liking ponies, I'd get the sh*t beat outta me for sure. lol It's just not for me. Doesn't make it a bad show if you're a child or a girl IMO. If you're my age, there's no hope for you.

derpy hooves you shouldn't care about what others think of your avatar or the shows you watch. I say if you like it and it doesn't harm anyone else, do it and enojoy it.

The show is mildly entertaining. I would never be like "OH SHIT PONYS ARE ON DROP EVERYTHING" but I mean if I'm babysitting and they wanna watch it I don't mind. It's not as bad as some of the other crap they wanna watch. The thing that makes the show look absolutely awful to bystanders is the terrible fanbase. I'm talking about the people that shit up TF2 matches with pornographic pony sprays, people that rave about it like it's the second coming of Christ, and fans that try to shove it down peoples throats. It's not the show itself that drives people into disliking it, it's the terrible fanbase it has.

That's what I think of when I see people mention Bronies... furries. Also, it creeps me out that full grown men are so infatuated with a show about ponies that is targeted towards pre-teen females.

Pretty much this. It doesn't creep me out as such, but I do find it quite strange.

I find it both creepy and strange. I'll always associate these guys with being furries in my mind.
