So this has a functional link port?

In theory you could hook up two consoles and two TV's and play head-to-head Tetris?

ETA:  nevermind, then...I see your post up-thread confirming this.

Awesome.

This is so awesome, bunny. What are you doing with the spare gameboy parts? Would you be interested in parting with them for...reasonably cheap? I have the guts of a few gameboys that need shells.

That's a nice job. I have two extra GBs (old big gray ones) laying around that work if you need them for more of these units. PM me if you're interested.

Not yet accepting Game Boy donors, still have a stack of them. I will probably be selling the cases and screens in bulk when I am done with them. I will be using a few of them because I think I can use a cheapo processor to display something on the GB screen

Those Game Boy cases would be great for making portables. I'll probably pick up one or two if they are on the cheap.

Mark and I received our cart yesterday. It's actually cooler than I expected it to be. The wiring looks pretty wild through the clear cart.

You never cease to amaze me Mr. Parker.

Yeah, I have to echo what Matt has said. I've never had any desire to ever own a Super Gameboy or collect for Gameboy in any way. This thing is definitely moving me in that direction, it's amazingly cool to play GB games on the NES.

I'm totally hooking up a decent pair of PC speakers to it this weekend. Thanks again Brian!!!

Yup the rest of the gaming world found the story and copied off each other. unfortunately I doubt many included the complaints I posted so all the comments will say "super gameboy is cheaper" like it is brand new to me

Yay - Mine arrived today. I was so eager to get it out of the box it went flying across the table. It is safe though!

Crazy cool guts as mentioned before. Only one in Australia too

ps: ever since I got it I have had "the only decision, retroretrovision - we've got it!" lol
