Clay fighter tournament down. I like tiny, too bad they didn't bring him into the n64 era.

I am halfway done with Nosferatu. I expect to beat it in about an hour.

Edit: Took a bit less than expected. Nosferatu is done.
Now I will try to get another game in at Roger Clemen's MVP Baseball.

Kawasaki Caribbean Challenge is a strange game.
I am not even sure how it ends, but I am working on it. Maybe I will find out tomorrow.

Final Fight 3 done.  I can't even make the final level of Final Fight, yet I nearly 1CC'd this on my first try (not counting when I rented this once as a kid)

I managed to beat Izzy's Quest for the Olympic Rings last night before bed. I am still trying to understand and get the hang of those Kawasaki games, but I hope I will have them beat by the weekend.

I decided I'm not going to take the WWF and TMNT IV clears away. They will stand. But I will probably do WWF Raw since its on my do-list anyways, so we'll be covered. For TMNT, if someone could beat it on hard that would be great.

I will review all Konami games to see if there are any other hard requirements I missed. I know Cybernator, Batman Returns, Buster Busts Loose, Mystical Ninja and the Castlevanias are safe. Unsure about Animaniacs, Sparkster, Batman and Robin, etc.

I could take a look at those, but for now my only focus is to clear green games out of the list so we can get closer to the objective of completing the whole library. I don't think this will change till March at least.

Think you could start providing any insight or tips for these titles you are clearing?  I figure many/most of them are a total mystery

I intend to do that for quite a few of them.
Most of the ones I have beaten this year are platformers/adventures, so they are very straight forward.
But now the Kawasaki ones have literally next to nothing written about them out there, so once I figure out what consists of ending them, I will post here along with the completion claim.

Obviously the focus has shifted this year, but for fun, here are the January benchmarks:

2012 - 61
2013 - 133
2014 - 56
2015 - 49
2016 - 175
2017 - 35*

I beat Rampart on Easy! It was only 7 levels.

However, I don't think that should count. I need to play around with Super Rampart as well as the other two difficulty levels to see how things shake out.

Even on Easy difficulty it took me quite a few tries to clear it. I like the game a lot but I am not very good at it yet.

Yeah, you'll need to do normal at least. I think that one has a crazy number of levels. I got somewhere in the teens back when I attempted it (and failed)

Looking at gamefaqs' cheat section, there are 47 levels.  I am unsure if you only see all of them in Hard or what.

There are a handful of big name games on the system I've never beat that I will try to tackle. And I'm working on a longer NES game. But I'd like to contribute towards the green list as well, so I think I'll take a look at Rise of the Phoenix this week

Well, someone other than me will have to do Pink Goes to Hollywood this year.
There is no way I am touching that or anything Pink Panther related.

I was planning on it.  I've just been busy with the NES stuff and holidays and all that.  Was going to start cracking down on SNES this weekend.

Well okay then!

I'll get to work and report back later.  I'm determined to get good at this game.

Updated the top 25. thegardentool moved into a tie for 23rd with his 13th completion.  I mistakenly had his clear of Nickelodeon Guts misspelled and it wasn't registering.

Two more games done on Roger Clemen's MVP Baseball.
I am also working on Lawnmower Man right now. It is a weird game with platforming segments, first person segments and top view segments. It is weird and hard. Don't think I will be able to beat it today.

OK, I have beaten The Lawnmower Man. The game gave me a completion rating of 98%. No effing idea what that means. I don't quite understand it. I will try to play it again during the year to try to understand and document that game properly.
