So today I was browsing around for a 3DS.

Came across an add that offered a 3DS with 6 games $180. After a little back and forth we settled on $120 for the lot, and I asked him if he had any retro stuff. He tells me he has a bunch of N64 stuff so I told him to bring it along and he pulls out a N64, 2 controllers and a bag full of games. I offer him $250 for the 3DS bundle and N64 and he accepts.

Haha, unfortunately it's hard to come by games much these days.  About 90% of the posts on Kijiji are resellers / dealers

Yep, added about 15 games to the N64 cart collection over the past couple of days, almost at the half way mark.

It was really slow-going for while, but I have picked up a bunch of solid lots over the past week and a half.

Today's lot I almost gave up on. Found someone selling a bunch of random stuff for $500, he was asking $250 for a PS2 and a bunch of games and $100 for some other random stuff. I purchased the game boy / gameboy advance and all the games for $60 and then his N64 with 22 games for $100. Went to the meet up spot (shady part of Toronto), we were supposed to meet at 6:15, and I get a text saying that he will be a bit late and will be there at 6:30. At 6:30 I get a text saying to wait another 10 minutes, I wait the 10 minutes and get another one saying he's super behind so I gave myself until 7 PM and if he didn't come I was going to leave. Guy ends up showing at 6:57 and I was very happy with my find.

I also grabbed a Grape N64 w/ matching controller, smash bros and 6 commons for $40 (no epic story here).



Also, I haven't seen these Gameboy games before, can anyone shed some light?

Haha thanks man. It's just sheer luck and getting at it asap because if it's up for an hour and it's even a relatively good deal, it will be gone.

And for the Funtastic series, I am kicking myself right now because at one point I had four of them but decided to bundle them off with some games to make some cash, won't be happening now as I think I'm going to try for a complete set myself.

Who knows, maybe your sig will say "Yes, I'm the guy with 156 Funtastic N64s" lol.

The grape funtastic is seeeexy. Might be my favorite N64, it's up there with the gold and Pikachu.

Those gameboy carts are just japan imports, nothing really special looks like. awesome purchase, nothing beats 2 smash bros in one go.
