Wow Skinny, cant believe your little one has gotten that big. on a side note not sure how long your in the city but if you get a chance stop at foley's in midtown for a burger and beer.

And dont forget to take that little princess to the American Girl doll store  you will be a few hundred dollars lighter after that stop
I’m pretty sure skinny just takes photos with kids, passing them off as his own on the internet. I mean, cmon’. The guy lives in a shed in Florida that has a Bud Light light on the wall that isn’t even a cool old school neon. Just sayin’!

Tom! They grow up fast friend! Was only in the city for an afternoon. Those American dolls are no joke lol! I got a pic in front of Madison square garden too! Wish I had time to stop at the burger joint but did get a nice slice

richie! That’s my baby girl for sure! Lol. I picked up that neon working at a liquor store.tapeworm is the only one of us that lives in the shed hahaaa!

(Disclaimer: I haven't read a FAQ (yet))

I would say no. This game is extremely tough with or without a guide. It would be almost unfairly hard without a guide.

Yeah, unless you want to jump around at every spot for hours, I say use a guide.

Plus it's got some of the most aggravating platform sections that I've ever encountered combined with horribly shitty controls.

I don't know how much more of this I can stand, to be honest. Part of me wants to quit in disgust and part of me wants to keep trying until I hit at least a million.

Another thing, I do think that it's a bit cheap to consult maps and guides while playing. During gameplay I go by memory.

This isn't the biggest game in the world so it's not that hard to remember where stuff is.

It would be easy if the controls were decent. Usually when I die it's because of randomly letting go of a ladder. Or being stuck in a crouching position as an enemy runs into me. Or some other bullshit due to bad controls and bad programming. Plus all of the items that you need are invisible and without a guide you have to jump everywhere like an idiot in order to find them. This game isn't worth the trouble of figuring it out on your own.

The worst part is the long climb up to where the diamond is, and the narrow platforms at the top of the climb. And if you screw up, you fall all the way back down and have to do it all over again. And it wouldn't be so bad if the controls were good, but they aren't.

This game is stupid but it's fun. Hike up them britches and quit being bitches. It has the same frustrating charm as battle kid, given its no where near as polished as battle kid but this game makes you figure shit out for yourself. No 3 hour tutorials no linear progression. Just classic gaming at its clunkiest

Then that is why you’ll beat me this week. I won’t use a guide and have fun figuring “it” out in my own.

well, it does have a mind of it's own.
I got stuck in a wall right at the beginning ,got out and the bat spawn locations changed and random flying ones increased to 3 in a row per screen.
This did not change when dying or hitting 'reset' , i had to power off to make the shit stop.

and with all this my hit box increased by about twice the original size, there were other silly things too. IE: jump over a spider/scorpion and a second one would instantly spawn where your sprite is supposed to land

then i went to bed.

I guess you people aren't strong enough to handle Super Pitfall.

Those little platforms that you must hop across to get to the diamond and the elevator.... and if you mess up, you fall all the way back down and have to start the long climb over again. That's just evil. But after watching TMR's playthrough, it looks like the vines in the dark world are the hardest part of the game. I haven't made it that far.

I’ve been hand making a map to get progress. I’m not gonna gonna waste anymore time trying though. The platforming in this game is super easy. The only difficulty this game offers up is the trying to find the best way to go to get treasures and where to randomly jump to get keys.

The platforming is more forgiving than Montezuma's Revenge. I'll give it that. At least falling doesn't kill you unless you land on an enemy or something. But there's still some aggravating shit such as Harry letting go of ladders for no reason or not grabbing onto a vine.

Then it's a matter of who has the patience to collect every item/treasure as well as point press by shooting high scoring enemies over and over. I doubt that I have the patience for it.

After experimenting with the controls I think that I figured out why Harry sometimes seems to be stuck in a crouching position. While ducking if you then hold another directional button he'll continue to duck until you stop pressing buttons. So you might continue to hold down when getting off a ladder and then press right or left, but he's still ducking, and then you might try to press up in order to get him to stand up but he's still ducking. This can waste enough time to get killed by a fast enemy.

Yeah. Just beating the first quest is sufficient for a completion unless you only get the "real ending" by beating the second quest such as in Ghosts n Goblins.
