Definitely missing out. I think MK8 is the only game that NA'ers currently frequently get together in good numbers to play together.

Well, we had a great game of MK8 last night. I randomly gave away an NES cart to one of the participants. Oh well.

Crap, I should have been in the Discord! Whenever you're planning on getting a game together, drop an @ to the regular players so we can organize a bigger group!

Too bad @BazookaJoe can't enjoy Mario Kart with us.

 

Well, I joined the Mario (Kart) Party a couple weeks ago. I just played through all of the 50cc GPs because I'm a completionist starting at the beginning. I also got a switch about the same time, so I have no clue how to share my Switch player ID.

Sadly, getting 1st place in 100cc has been challenging. It's not hard to break away from the pack and get a commanding lead. However, I'm experiencing the same issues that annoyed me occasionally in Mario Kart 64 (my last MK game) you get on the last lap, last quarter of the race and BAM! blue shell... BAM! red shell... ok, I can see the finish line... BAM! another flippin' blue shell... and I took 3rd?! RAGE RESET!

Of the 3 GPs I've played through, this has happened to me 3 times, in 100cc. I must suck baaaaaaad.

On the home screen, click on your icon/avatar in the top left (I believe). Then on the Profile section it will show your code under your avatar.

I would, honestly, and I probably will some day. However, both my wife and I are feeling a bit under the weather and are actually going to try and get in a workout in. By 8:00, once the kids are in bed, I'm pretty sure we're going to completely crash.
