I want to welcome you all to the new Buyer's Forum. We hope this will reduce some of the load that's been seen in the Gaming Buy, Sell, & Trade area, which is now the Seller's Forum.

With that, let's kick it off with a small WTB list for Gameboy Color. I'm looking for the following misc stuff:

Brilliant idea. Nothing more annoying than sifting through a million WTB threads when you're looking for FS threads and vice versa.

Cool Dain! One problem though, my thread is a FS/FT thread, but I call it my Trade thread because the prices are mainly an idea of the value of trade in... unless they want to buy of course. The only problem? It's in the Seller's section which is FS and FO only.

So should it be moved? Should I make 2 threads, one in the buyers and one in the sellers? I'm I simply granfathered in -- okay just to leave it there (Is this new rule only set for newcomers/newly made threads?)?

I might be over analyzing this, but I don't want to confuse a mod here and have 'em lock my thread because they think I'm breaking the rules or something.

Also, I'll keep an eye out for those carts you mentioned.

Mods are doing a mass migration, but if they miss yours then I'm sure you can just ask. As for me, I just made a new one : p

Just edit your original thread into a Sell only, and then make a new one here.
Don't worry about anybody getting a thread locked. We understand it is new and will give a few days for the threads to get updated and sorted out.
I am sure we are going to be seeing bumped threads that need to be moved...nobody is going to get "5 for fighting" or even a 2 minute minor for cross checking...

^ Yeah I kinda thought of making a new one, but shouldn't making 2 of the same threads against a rule? I think it might be an exception though cuz it's not like we're trying to spam in that sense, I dunno.

Trouble with my thread is that it's both a FS and a FT, so it could fall into either category, so I really don't think it's a problem, but with me calling it a "trade thread" then I'm not sure. I guess I'll just leave it there and put a note in it later for the mods. lol

Id recommend making links to your WTB thread in your FS threads and vice versa as well.

This is a good idea, will make browsing much easier. I'll be updating my fs/ft/wtb thread shortly.

Ok, to answer a few concerns/questions:

- You can have 1 thread in each category, but you don't have to make two. You can put your WTB stuff in your FS thread if you want to, that's your call, but you'll get more exposure here for your WTB (for example, Pats1717 and others will likely be actively fulfilling buy requests).

- Don't stress. This is new and as Benihana said, we'll get it all sorted out over the next few days. Your old WTB thread will perish on its own, 10 pages deep in no time anyway.

- Just like in the old BST, only 1 bump every 24 hours. This is still the rule for both categories. We'll be updating the FAQ soon with the new category any special rules that pertain to it.

- As videogamedomain said, linking to your other thread (cross-linking) is a great idea.

- A "trade only" thread can be in either category really. Your call.

Cool, Dain. I'll just not stress it then. This is all made to help the flow of the traffic between the category, and it's nice to have something more organized to help out everybody.
