This weeks game is golf!
Rules are:
Best score in 18 holes wins.
Participation point: +28 aka 100

Ends next sunday at 9 PM central time,
no name in picture=score doesnt count!

Just popped Golf into my NES, and noticed the default score is +28 for an overall score of 100 instead of +38 for an overall score of 100. Should we change the participation score from +38 to +28?

Honestly, I preferred it to be +38 = 110, cause it makes the participation point at an average double bogeys roll, but +28 = 100 is okay. People that finish the course should learn a few tricks here and there to drop their score.

well if its 28 i wont be able to get a participation point this week. I have never played this most common game of all time. but i just had my first round of 18 holes and i got a +51. Im really good at mario golf and other golf games that tell you how far a club can hit the ball. Why cant this game give you some kind of meter to help measure distance. This game blows.

Can we just give the participation point to anyone who finish the 18 holes ?

That would be kind of fair because some people got their participation point in ice hockey with a -10 score.

lmao i was -6 in Ice hockey. I played 3 games and i only scored 1 goal. This game is so long to finish 18 holes of boredom.

No way, +28 is way too easy as it is.

Just select all fat guys and crush the other team, you should score 12-15 easy.

Well i had never played on the fastest speed before. And i played the first game and got my ass kicked 11-0 and then the second i got beat like 6-0 then i got beat 7-1 in the final game i played. I didnt have much time to get used to the fastest setting. Im just fine at the game on slower settings

I'm not sure if emulators count or not. But here you go. thought i'd give it a play through. i had a few birdies and a lucky chip in. I bet i could get this down to a +5 with some practice.

Just to put oil in the fire:
I made a score of -3 Yesterday.

EDIT: Just as information, the twingalaxies record is set to -21.
There's room for a better score if birdies on all par 3-4, and eagle on par 5 = -22...
