Different reasons but it counts!

Low score contests force you to learn how to beat the game first before trying to figure out how to reduce score. Just beating the game normally likely won't be good enough to place.

Unfortunately this one seems tougher than the last low score contest game Double Dragon. Or at least I'm not as good at shooters as I am platformers/beat em ups. Maybe I'll figure it out.

I can maybe do a bit better, but I think I'm close to done this week. I've never beat either of the SNES games I'm running, so I'd kinda like to devote time to that, and practice Battletoads, and keep up beating SNES games.

I fully expect bert or the two grinders (skinny and toxie) to get under 100K

And until Cobra Kai bests me...

Well I can safely assume for every game since I started it has been 40-50 hours.

Well I work 40 hours a week always have, if I am not at work there is a 95% chance I am playing.
