Back to the question from the other thread, will you be shipping to users with 10+ feedback first?

Is english not your primary language? Your threads are difficult to read, a little proof reading before posting would help alleviate some confusion.

^ Might be a kid. Who would sell SFCE at $10 and ask for $5 increments? lol
(Don't mean to shit on his thread, but he's doing a good enough job anyway.)

I know i have grammar issuses and spelling issuses.
Shipping will be 6 dollars.

I am here to sell and buy thing. There is no point in trying to rip people off because it will just end up hurting me in the long run.

I understand. I just think you might want to do some more research on pricing before you list items.

How old are you? What is your english level? I understand an english mistake on a few occasions, but with everything you post?

It is not spelled "Momment", it is spelled Moment.

You live in Florida and not someplace that doesn't speak English.

I understand your frustrations and concerns coming here trying to sell some video game items and getting slammed by people on the forums, but they have a right to do it.

This isn't ebay and Nintendo Age works off of donations and doesn't charge you to sell items here. They set a strict guideline to make it fair to all members. When people start doing things off of the guidelines, it makes it more difficult for other members and makes everyone a little nervous.

The people on Nintendo Age are more reliable, trustworthy, and not like the people you find on ebay for the most part. When you sell or buy something on Nintendo Age, you are dealing with collectors and true fans of the hobby.

I know you are frustrated and annoyed by the rules of Nintendo Age, but you are choosing to come here and join this community. If doing business doesn't sit well with you this way then you shouldn't do business here.

I would love to welcome you into the community and just offer for you to relax a little and just try to follow everything to the best of your ability. If you find out that you are breaking a rule, then just acknowledge it and try your best to follow them. Everyone knows you are new and they are trying to help in their own way. When you respond back and become defensive, it sets off members of the site that have been around the block here much longer than you or I.

My recommendation would be to just set a For Sale thread in the other forum on Nintendo Age and just list the price you want for each item. You can have it posted for everyone to see and anyone interested will PM you. Once you become more acquainted with the community, then post an auction. Just be sure to check the rules and make sure you follow all of them and don't be mad at the members when they point out a rule you are not following.

I know I have shitty grammar. And spell add to the fact am posting from a cell phone because of a computer crash so ya sorry about that. I have said several time I am willing to follow the rules but if people keep putting negative post will just end up hurting my bids I will have no problem giving back to the forums but I need to see if this place is for me.

John,

Your reply is exactly what I'm talking about. It's very defensive and gives excuses for your behavior. Reread my post. I really hope you can review the posts and think about how you can improve your auctions/selling. If you are defensive all the time and react to everything, you are going to have a rough start here. You don't need to fight the forums!

Am not trying to fight the forum. I am here to sell my items and that about it. I have allot of good collectable items that i know some of the collects on here would love to have. Also the whole compaints about my spelling and grammar isnt needed. I understand that my skilling is lacking and i don't like to be reminded about it online.

How i see it this forums isn't new users friendly. How i see it the shipping rules should be on the sticky you have up on this section. Before i posted i did read some guidelines and no where in that talks about the shipping rule. As long as there is a tracking number the payment should be sent. Paypal is very user friendly so it should be that hard to get the money back if needed. I have been burned in the past as a buyer so i understand the mentality but to ruining a person bidding because of it is not justified. How do you expect me to get my bid feedback rised if people go in to my post and piss all over it.

the FAQ clearly spells out everything about NintendoAge, which I why I referred you to them.

Feel free to report another auction and I will ensure there is no talk about grammar and spelling.

Handle this as you want to, but rest assured NintendoAge loves new users, however we have certain guidelines we ask you to follow.

"Am not trying to fight the forum"

Don't be defensive and react to every post like you are doing with me now, that is fighting the forum.

"I am here to sell my items and that about it"

Set up a for sale thread and don't do an auction!  You can just list your prices and terms.  You can state that you want to receive payment first via paypal.  If buyers don't like that then they don't need to buy from you and you can state that.

"Also the whole complaints about my spelling and grammer isnt needed.  I understand that my skilling is lacking and I don't like to be reminded about it online."

Your spelling and grammer is very bad.  If you don't want people to comment on it, then take the time to make sure you rereview your posts before you post them.  There will always be a mistake here and there with people but for the most part you SHOULD make an effort to make sure what you are saying makes sense and is written well.  I don't know what you mean by your skilling is lacking.  There really is no excuse.  Unless your truly do not know how to spell and speak, in which case I would wonder how you are able to run a store in Florida.  I checked out your wifes websites and they have great spelling and grammer so I'm not sure where the problem is.  I use my cell phone half the time myself but still take the time to make sure everything is spelled correctly and has proper grammar for the most part.

"How I see it this forums isn't new users friendly"

The forum is very friendly to new users.  You even received a dozen "welcome aboard" posts when you posted that you were new to the site.  What people on the forums don't like to see is new users coming in and doing whatever they want with no regard for the rules.  It shows that you have a lack of experience with the website and you are resisting the rules and organization of these forums.  We love new members, but you should show respect and courtesy to the other members of the site and not be so defensive.  When you defend yourself, or excuse your actions, then you are basically saying that what you did was "ok" when it wasn't.

"I have been burned in the past as a buyer so i understand the mentality but to ruining a person bidding because of it is not justified. How do you expect me to get my bid feedback rised if people go in to my post and piss all over it."

Most everyone here has been burned as a buyer from different places such as ebay.  I myself have been burned.  That is why they have the rules set up.  Noone is ruining your bidding.  People post how they feel about your auction here.  Since you are new, they are pointing out the mistakes you are making.  Some people are being much harsher than others, but ultimately they are all trying to help you.  People will bid on your items based on how much they feel it is worth.  You pulling the auctions mid auction is a BIG NO NO!  That definetally burned a lot of people and invalidated the bidders such as myself who bid on the nintendo cards.  People aren't "pissing" on your auction, they are merely upset about how you are doing the auction.  It doesn't follow the regular rules of the forum and it isn't consistant with what a regular Nintendo Age member would do.

John, you don't need to fight or feel the need to respond to every post.  We are trying to help you get more acquainted with the forums so you can adjust to how things are done here.  Lots of members are very interested in the items you sell but you need to be able to adjust to how things are done here.  The best advise I can give would be to not complain while you are new and to try listing your items on the For Sale thread instead of trying to auction them off.  Most people list things on the For Sale Thread on these forums and the auction forum isn't used too much.  I really hope you read through the response I've given.  I really don't want you to feel like you aren't welcome here.  You are very much welcome here but we just want you to follow the rules and relax a little.

For members that are being mean to you, there are some people like that and you can have them marked as a FOE so that you don't have to read their responses.  Most people on here are just trying to have fun and explore the hobby more.

I wish you the best of luck and I hope you can learn from this.

If you want to know why my grammar and spelling is crappy it because i had to relearn how..Let leave it like that.

The website is done by my wife not me.

When a post is spammed by negetive comments it really does hurt the seller. It makes the seller look like he has no idea what he is doing. Also most of the issuses could of been resolved by a pm and not spamming the thread. I did read the FAQ yesterday. So I do understand how thigns are done around here.

I know you have a selling section but i wanted to try out the bidding style.

If you walk in to a store and 2 people are there saying negitive things about the store would you walk out or stay and look around ??
