This is by far the best I have ever done in Donkey Kong.  Watching that video from Tom's kill screen run where he gives a few pointers was massively helpful.  I though for a bit that I might catch Erizisto, but it wasn't to be.  And this took a long time, so there is no way I am trying to top this score.

Also, if the raffle does end up happening, and I miraculously win a second week in a row, feel free to pass it along to the next winner.

It took a few seconds to come up, but I can see it.

The 500k mark still continues to elude me. Hopefully I can hit it by the end of the day.

It took me a while to break through past 500k, but once I did, it felt like smooth sailing.  I would play mine in about 30-45 minute spurts and take breaks, otherwise I felt like I would make stupid mistakes.

I basically just play by feel. If I start off bad, I'll wait and try again later. If I'm on a roll, I'll play until I start making stupid mistakes or my scores start dropping off. I had a pretty good run going today, but I still didn't get to the 500k mark (although I came really close). I'll try again this evening and see if I can pull it off. If I could get past the bouncing jacks consistently, I could probably break a million, but I can't seem to get the hang of it.

On a sadder note, I feel like I am just a participation point level player against some of you guys sheesh.

Just going to keep plugging along, hopefully one of the upcoming games will be my ticket! Too bad no FPS came out on the NES or maybe my chances would be better

I'm Donkey Konged out. Great scores everyone! I'm sure by the end of the contest I'll be bumped out of the top ten,but that's fine. Donkey Kong is not a game I am really that good at anyway.
