I think Spy Hunter is fine. Who cares if there is a "High score competition". Isn't that what this is all about? Sure not everybody has time to spend hours and hours in front of a TV, but winning isn't everything. Besides, competition is what makes these contests fun.

suggestions for taking pics:

-if you have an Advantage, you can plug it in for ports #1 and #2 at the same time. when you lose your last car, you can flip the switch to player 2 and hit the A button to pause (if you're fast).
-if you're playing on an emu, you could bring up the program menu as a pseudo-pause while you get your camera ready.

i took this pic using the Advantage method, but if nobody objects i will be using the emu-menu-pause from here on out.

First time I've actually tried to get far in Spy Hunter:

HIGH SCORE as of 2/16 - 39,335

The snow area caught me by surprise, I actually like this game now.

Well, if it loops forever, this might bring other problems. Nobody likes to play 10 hours to record a score. I'll do some test later and see what is going on with spy hunter.

Yeah man, I remembered the thing from my youth, but trying it out Yesterday, I must say playing several hours is almost impossible.

This game is crap! Not much there realy. With alot of fixxing it could have been a contender. Maybe 3 men. And definitly they needed to work on the dificulty and strategy.

I actually enjoy it. Every time I sit down I can get up to around 60-70K after 3 or 4 tries, but instead of continuing, I just stop. I guess it's out of boredom

Well.....it does say in the manual how to get extra men....

Thanks for posting a higher score! Now I have something to shoot for. Hopefully I will get a chance to play after work. Although I am about sick of this silly game, but I did figure out a nice path to never have to drive on the snow roads.
