Cool find on the saturn import, they're hard to come across sometimes.

That particular game or Saturn imports in general?

This place had quite a few Saturn imports, and they just posted that they got some sort of clear shell Saturn console that was from Japan, that was pretty cool.

At least where I live any type of import is hard to come by. Very few times I actually got to purchase imports without resorting to ebay.
Many people here don't even know what a Sega Saturn is.

Imports are hard to find out here, I'm guessing this game store bought out someone's entire collection and has been piecing it out for quite some time.

Blizzard hit, which is my favorite time to go hobby-ing. Here's what I got:

-NRA Gun Club (Ps2)
-Namco Museum Anniversary (GC)
-NBA Street V3 (GC)

Because of the holidays and the added work time (because of the holidays), I haven't been getting to my local Goodwill to find games for about a week. I walked in and noticed a ton of Wii, PC, and some new GC games. I'm guessing that someone did some cleaning, and I got to pick through the scraps. Can't win them all!

NBA Street V3 was one of my most wanted Gamecube games though, because of the Mario characters.

Just Dance 4 - Wii.

I got it as a Christmas present. Cost me all of $2.

Cool, Just Dance 1 is still 8 bucks on Gamestop so you pretty much got a good deal on that one.

Yeah, $2 isn't a bad price for that game. I probably would have used it as trade bait if I didn't use it as a Christmas present

I need some advice.

So, my local Re-Store (a building materials thrift-style store run by Habitat for Humanity, for those who don't know) just marked down all of their jewel case video games from $3 to $1. Roughly half of the games are Dreamcast sports titles. There is nothing special, but would they be worth grabbing at $1 each? I'll get the ones that I need, but I thought about just buying all of them and using them as tradebait later on down the road.

Is there much demand for those? It doesn't sound very worthwhile to me, but I don't know a thing about Dreamcast. Dreamcats, now... I retrade those with frequency.

I don't know anything about dreamcast but I would buy good condition gamecube cases at $1 a piece just for replacement cases.

Not really, but the 2K stuff is well liked (even now), and as tough as DC stuff is to find out here, I figured I could trade them around to collectors trying to get their collections off the ground.

I do that too with my xBox stuff. Since these are just regular jewel cases I'm probably better off buying in bulk for replacements.

I suppose the only question now is whether or not you have the space or mind having them sit around for a spell. I am so anal retentive about that sort of thing that I would go insane if I had to sit on them but that's just me.

I can handle it for a while, but then it gets to me.

I suppose I'll have to think about it for a while.

If the sports games are a buck each you can use them for trade bait or if you get desperate and want the games out then you can always go to a video game store and trade them in for something you'd like.

That's what I was thinking. If it were anything more than a buck, I would have passed (as I did numerous times at $3).

Got a few today

-Flatout PS2 $8

Long story behind this game, but I essentially bought it for a relative who used to play it on PC and can't anymore (which is why I payed $8, which is the SALE price... UGH).

-LA Noire xbox360 $3
-Wreckless Yakuza Missions xbox $3
-Simpson's Road Rage xbox $3

I've never seen a black label copy of SRR. I'm guessing it's just one of those things that happens. Anyway, I needed the black label copy for the set (already have the PH version).

Corner cupboards are God's gift to the gamer on the cheap...

Bought one that's about 4 feet tall for 20 bucks to use an entertainment center... 40 inch on top, all the consoles on the shelves, it's a neat clean look and I can't argue the price.

Needs to be modified for cable management and and I need to cut the baseboard to set it flush against the wall, might reinforce the top as well, just to be safe.

Probably fit a few LED strips on the inside for lighting. The only problem is I'll have to invest in wireless controllers for my older systems. Oh well.

If they have NBA Hoopz or Sports Jam, grab them. For me?

I think they had Hoopz a while ago, which I did grab.

It was a Midway sports game, so I was interested.

I overdid it a bit, but I made a late-night BOD run to Wal-Mart and bought 6 of these, which is every one they had (by my observation). Also not my pic.

I'm still looking for that line. None of them shipped to my area unfortunately.

Made a road trip... Scored somewhat decent. I'll try to get some pics up of this haul, but with the holiday season, might be tough.

First stop of the day - Goodwill.

-Tiger Handhelds Football $3.

I have a bad habit of buying these without the battery covers. Oops.

Second Stop - Pawn America

-Random xBox $1 sports games (for the set, nothing worth mentioning)
-Links' Awakening DX - $5
-Barbie Gameboy -$5
-Tekken 4 PS2 -$3
-NBA Live 2001 PS2 -$1 (KG on the cover)
-Simpson's Road Rage xbox (disc only in Cabela's case) $1

I didn't expect to find much, I really cleaned these guys out the past couple times of their xBox stuff. Link's was a nice find, and I bought Barbie because of the rental case it was in. Believe me, it was awkward asking to have them grab it for me. I was surprised to see it was a $10+ game, I'll probably sell it at some point as I have no interest in the game.

We Got Game:

-Guilty Gear X2 xBox $5
-Super Mario Sunshine (Kmart Variant) $31

We Got Game is a game store in southern MN, as well as Minneapolis. They are my "home" retro game store, despite being so far away from me. I love going in to check out the rare stuff they manage to find, my jaw hit the floor at the site of a Grey Turok Rage Wars. (not sponsored BTW, just enjoy the store)

Anyway, decided to get myself a Christmas present, which was Sunshine. I don't normally like paying full retail for games like this, but I've wanted it so bad for 10+ years, it was worth the cash. Guilty Gear X2 is supposed to be a good fighter, and I needed it for the set.

I was reading on SA that it's supposed to be a really good/overlocked game on the xBox, so I was surprised to find it the day after reading it.
