Hey all you NAers,

I picked this up about a year ago when I bought out a service center.  I started doing some poking around to see if there was any info on it and what it's worth and came up with nothing not even on the database here. Does anyone know anything about it?

Pics please!

I haven't seen a Link to the Past NFR before. Does it have the NFR on the label or is it just a sticker on the back?

If there's a NFR cart inside that box, I don't think anyone else in the world would have a complete NFR game! Although I'd send it to VGA or do nothing but keep it in a safe place myself. Opening it and finding a non-NFR cart would blow.

Looks like an Employee Store purchase.

Nintendo would seal up their games with stickers like that to discourage employees from trying to resell for profits.

Yup, don't open it...there will not be an NFR label on the cart

That box looks like it has been opened at least once. What type of seal is on this one?

There was another article on here almost identical to this one not too long ago. I don't have a link for it but they were wondering the same thing. They too had it resealed, and it had been since they got it. They were debating about sending it to VGA but they would have to open it to appraise it as it's a reseal. So there are at least 2 sealed copies of the NFR Link's Awakening out there. Hope this is somewhat helpful.

Here's a post that has the same game with the same sticker, but just in a different spot. Inside this link I post a link to my thread asking about the Link's Awakening.

I saw a thread the other day with a boxed copy of NES Open Tournament Golf with the sticker on it. that one was sealed as well.

Just to make sure, the sticker is underneath the seal right?

EDIT: someone beat me to it.

Yeah its underneath the seal. It sounds like Ladybug-Pug has the same thing I have. I also have the big vent holes and no H or V seam and no hinge cracking. Thanks Thatguy1962 for link BTW!

As Quoted from Ladybug-Pug.

"Iv had this zelda for a while and didnt think anything super special but then I just got this nes open. Both have the same sticher with the same plastic, there is 2 large ventholes one on each side and the sticker is inside the plastic. No H or V seams but also no hinge cracking and I believe they are both new. I dont want to open them."

So does any think its worth anymore or any less then a regular one?
