You know what's stupid...

I'm now in my mid-30s with a couple of kids and though Netflix/Amazon have done a decent job remaking or bringing back old, awesome educational TV shows, to this day I don't have a cheap way of giving my kids the joy of Wishbone. I love Wishbone. It was a great show and I even kept watching it after I aged out of the target age demographic because the first dog I had that was "my dog" was a Jack Russell Terrier.

This is stupid. It was one of the best PBS kids shows of the late 90s and it's just not getting any attention. Ok, you may now return to your real, "stupid behavior" posts. I just needed to rant a moment. Thank you.

There's a number of Wishbone episodes on YouTube. They're broken into ten minute clips, but what is there seems to be complete.

"PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- Rhode Island police have arrested a man they say was driving under the influence when he struck more than 40 other vehicles.

Police say 45-year-old Christopher Paolissi, of Foster, was "zig-zagging" his pickup truck when he struck 41 vehicles in Providence on Tuesday afternoon.

Police say Paolissi was intoxicated, and driving about 15 mph when officers stopped him.

He was hospitalized overnight. Most of the cars were parked and only one had an occupant.

Paolissi was held on $7,500 bond at a court appearance Wednesday. Not guilty pleas to driving under the influence, reckless driving and failure to stop after an accident were entered on his behalf.

The judge referred him to the public defender's office and to a substance abuse assessment."

Laughed pretty hard at this one today, 41 cars!

You could always show your support for public broadcasting by paying for the streaming service
I think it’s worth it for Nova and Antiques Roadshow alone.  Also our cat loves Nature.

I wasn’t aware there was one.  We have the app for kids, but when we go to sign-up for the normal PBS app, it’s wanting us to login through our cable subscription, which we don’t have as cord-cutters.

They have pretty much all of their back-catalog online either via their web interface or their various apps (and I think you can tie it in with your Amazon account, as well, if you use their ecosystem).

The going rate is a minimum $5/mo donation level to your local public broadcaster.

Damage is pretty bad to some of those cars - you can find images online. Pretty amazing that he managed to hit 47 or more (is that some sort of record?)
I suppose the "funny" thing would be that he pleaded not guillty.

"Cops discovered 41 turtles in a "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" backpack, and asked Machan-Le Quire if she had anything else unusual on her. She then pulled a 1-foot-long gator out of her yoga pants and handed it to the officers, police said."
