I picked up a PS VR recently with Gamestops B2G1 deal and some rewards certificates.  I've heard some reviews that say Astro bot is pretty good, my friend Dan recommended Beat Saber, I've got Thumper, Rez Infinite, and Tetris Effect coming.  Wondering if anyone has any other great game recommendations...

Yes.  Do you know if it has a physical release or that there will be one?  I would love Limited Run to pick up the slack if not.

No physical, and no plans for one. Buy it anyway.

Thats what I hear as well. So is re7 and skyrim patched in with vr support or do I have to buy a special version of the game?

Gotta buy the specific disc I believe. I just did the download for RE though. Season pass and all. Lots of replay value.

RE7 has built in VR support in the normal version on PS4 Pro.

I write shorthand reviews of every classic game I beat on The Backloggery, have a look-see.

My son plays the PSVR more than I do these days (some dumbass free online gameroom of sorts and Job Simulator) , but what little I have messed with it, RE7, Thumper, Until Dawn Rush of Blood, Super Stardust Ultra VR I played the most, I have others but I couldn't tell you if they are good or not... Doom, Skyrim, Arizona Sunshine, Dirt Rally, Drive Club, Wipeout, Farpoint (came with the "gun") Paranormal Activity, Prey, and Fruit Ninja...

All versions of RE7 support it automatically. However, Skyrim VR is a separate release from the original.

RE7, Doom, Farpoint and Astro Bot are must plays. Also, Fire Wall is fun but is multiplayer only.

Firewall is amazing fun if you can play online. Fairpoint is also cool. The VR x-wing demo on the original Star Wars Battlefront game is also really really cool if you can find a cheap copy, which you should easily be able to (it was a free demo/update for the game)

If you're a fan of "retro" Pixel Ripped 1989 is insanely creative and a blast to play. I fully recommend the download. I wish they'd make -that- one into a physical release.

I just beat The Persistence last night, easily one of the top PSVR games I've played. It looks like not too many people have played it, which is a shame.

Also, I see no one has mentioned Statik yet, that's another good one.

Blood and Truth is probably the funnest game I've played for PSVR. RE7 as everyone has mentioned, is awesome, as is Until Dawn. An overlooked choice is Robinson from Crytek. On a PS4 Pro, it looks incredible, and is a pseudo adventure puzzle game.

Resident Evil 7 - Another vote
Creed: Rise to Glory - it is a little glitchy but so much fun. Never realized how out of shape I was until I played. Also, nothing like being able to fight as or against your favorite Rocky villains.
Astro Bot - Just played the demo and it is a lot of fun, can't wait to play the full game
Until Dawn: Rush of Blood - Fun and scary on rails shooter. One of the first games I demo to people who have never done VR.
Doom VFR - a lot more fun than I was expecting
Keep Talking and No One Explodes - multi-player game where one person reads an on screen bomb manual while the person in VR describes and tries to disarm the bomb
I Expect You to Die - Digital Only escape room. I think there are only 4-5 levels but I enjoyed trying to best my times over and over again.
Batman - Only about 45 minutes long but a lot of fun. Basically you play Batman and must solve a crime, no action, just problem solving.

I played it on the demo disc that came with my PSVR and ran out to pick up the full game as soon as I'd finished the demo. Such a cool game/experience.

Batman: Arkham VR.

It's a Batman simulator. On the short side, but very memorable.

Super Hot has been my favorite VR game so far. You will have to import a PAL copy if you want physical, but it isn't super expensive.

Until Dawn: Rush of Blood is also really fun.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."
