dra600n is by far the best Mega Man 2 player I have ever seen -
but from the folks I've spoken with... Watching GameboyRicky play Dr. Mario is like watching Leonardo DaVinci paint.

I need to know.. Does this *have to* be the NES Dr. Mario? There are so many rereleases and the NES one is one I do not have. There's Dr Mario 64, Tetris & Dr. Mario, Dr. Mario on Game Boy, Dr. Mario Express DSiware, Dr. Mario & Puzzle League, etc. Will any of these work for the competition?

Gotcha. I normally use my 3DS virtual console for NES games but Dr. Mario on NES is mysteriously absent.

Also on level 5 for some reason I ended up getting almost 30 red/red pills ~~in a row~~ when I needed a blue/any pill. Weird.

Edit, not in a row of straight red/red but lots of yellow/yellow and red/yellow.

Someone with more knowledge of Dr. Mario can chime in,but I'm pretty sure the game does that as a way to increase the drop speed quicker.

At least I got to play from the comfort of my couch this time around. Pardon the mess.
Definitely not going to get any sort of monster score this time around unless a miracle happens. I'm wayyy too hung up on trying to get combos rather than clearing the level.

Updated my score to 173000.

While I played this one a lot as a kid I can safely say that I am no master at this game, will probably break 200K but after that...

As for Santa it 18 degree's temp in your place on one hand I can sympathize but on the other hand 0 degree weather is t-shirt weather for me. Of course being of Swedish descent might have something to do with that. 50% reduction of cold damage is awesome to have.

This is definitely one I want to play this week, but my copy of Dr. Mario is super-corroded and is the only game that won't respond to my attempts at cleaning it!

It's not much warmer where am I am... Not quite 55 below, but onl like 20 degrees warmer. Except that my basement is like normal temperature. But I had to dig to my mailbox... That's how much snow we had.
