  • Play on Mode A
  • Highest score wins

The contest ends Sunday, 4/1/12 at 10 PM NA time.  Your user name must be in the picture for your score to be valid.  The entire TV screen, or computer monitor if you are playing on an emulator, MUST be in the picture for the score to be valid.  No partial screenshots will be considered or accepted.  Good luck everyone and have fun!

Maybe I got a dumb question (I read more posts than add them)...but I gotta ask.
How do I add a picture to these posts?

New HIGH SCORE - 562670

I'm pretty pleased with this new score.  I made it to the 4th wizard that everyone has problems with due to his random ass attacks.  High Score - 562670

Thanks for the tip, RDrunner. BTW, has anyone told you that you sound like Charlie Sheen a little? That might explain all the "winning".

Good video, hopefully I can have some better luck with that fourth level. After about the third time through those stupid moths get too fast and usually end up killing me or taking almost all of my energy before I get to the boss (who seems to give me a lot of trouble as well).

Lol.  Can you believe that's the second time I've been asked that question since last night?

Yup, the fourth level is the killer.  If the moths don't get you, the magician boss usually does.  There are ways to beat him, but he's so random that it's mostly luck.

My best approach is to try to get far enough to the right of the screen so that he appears right in front of me and hope he throws a fireball over my head so I can get a few easy shots in. Usually if that works I can move right a little further and repeat the process without getting hit, but like you said it's mostly luck. It was interesting that you get a bonus for killing every 12th enemy (if it's the common type) with a jump kick. I didn't know you could actually kill the dragons on level 2 either. I always just ducked the fire and waited for them to disappear. Hopefully I can finally get past three loops now, but I doubt I'm going to come anywhere near 3.1 million points so your record should be safe!

I'll definitely get back to this game and get a better score, but in the off chance that I don't, here's mine.

And Tom, you really need to do a playthrough of Platoon while impersonating Charlie Sheen.

I've always hated this game, mainly because it's one of those games I was always worse at than anyone else I knew..

If you have any GBA signage or kiosk I would be interested. Please send me a PM because I'm only here about once a month now but I'm still VERY interested in large system signage or small playable kiosks related to the GBA.

Well at least we know the reason that Mr. X regains his health is because he has tiger blood and Adonis DNA!

I might go ahead and try and get a head start on my NES Golf skills. I've played this a few more times and I keep dying with right around 350,000 points. I'm determined to try and actually finish a round of Golf under par before I die. The closest I ever came was going into the last course at -1, but I ended up with 18 mph winds and finished +3.

Okay, finally got to sit down and play this.  Lost a bunch of men trying to point rack, but oh well.

Here's your challenge for the week: Break a million!  It can be done in less than 4 loops.  Just go for those "12th man" jump kick bonuses and run the clock down every time (except on Magician stages).

Cool stuff Tom!

I was about to make up a rule with Bimmy about rolled scores. Taking a pic just before and after the score rolls sounds legit to me. Repeat process if necessary.

Rolling the score will be fine.  I agree with guillavoie on the stipulations.
