Howdy fellow NA'ers

Been pretty busy at the Timewalk camp lately. PAN, Thamiel and Nechestria and myself have been busy putting together some awesome stuff and I wanted to share some images of whats getting released this month Also added a new cart maker to the group - OPTIMUS XEC.

Also, update on Earthbound big box. I know a lot of you are waiting for this one, and we are working hard on it. I just finished page 100 of the strategy guide, so we're getting a lot closer to making this possible, but it's taking longer than I expected. In the meantime, enjoy this months coming releases.

3-14-2012

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to update my news thread about what going on over at Timewalk this month.

First off, for releases this month I bring to you...

Treasure of the Rudras

Treasure of the Rudras

The manual was masterfully prepared by Thamiel, another member of this site. He hails out of Austrailia, and will be doing most of the work on the SNES RPG manuals, including our next months release of Clock Tower. Nechestria (also an NA member) will be handling the majority of NES
releases.

This is a fantastic RPG! Why the rest of the world did not get to play it is beyond me, but you really should check it out!

Thanks again to Thamiel for his excellent work.

EARTHBOUND ZERO BIG BOX DEVELOPMENT

I've been getting a lot of requests for the Earthbound Zero CIB, and I apologize as I have not been able to make any new stock recently. However, I have decided to do something awesome for all you Earthbound Zero Fans.

We're making a big box.

No pictures yet, but here are the specifications of it.

Big Box - same size as SNES Earthbound so it fits your collection.

When you open the box the opening theme music to  Earthbound Zero will play (Sorta like a music box   Thanks goes out to Galvatryne of NA for this development. Check out this video of his mod of my SMR big box in which he implemented this design

Full color strategy guide with walkthrough, item stats, enemy stats and more. 100+ Pages

Full Color Poster

Full color map

Full color manual

It's gonna be great guys.

Thanks guys! As always love hearing from you!

-Spencer

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wanted to give some updates to you all for this month.

First off,

Almost all of the New Ghostbusters 2 pre-orders have shipped. If you ordered one you should be recieving it shortly.
Thanks to everyone. That was a great run.  It's sllightly annoying to make, so I don't know how many more of them I'll be making in the future, but I was really happy with the box art, not to mention it's a great game.

Concerning Boxes,

In the VERY near future, all future boxes will be made in a box factory, to almost exact spec of the orignal NES/SNES boxes. Thanks to all who ordered NGB2. This has funded the ability to do this. Tooling and setup costs for box making in this style is pretty expensive, and it is with great pleasure that  I re-invest these funds to further improve what I do.

Those of you who have bought my games since I first started doing this have seen the different revisions I have done over time. I'd love to keep making them by hand, but I think arthritis is setting in.

Treasure of the Rudras will more than likely be the last game I do in the old style.

Concerning our growing team, we our lucky to have new people working with us on these projects, and I would like to give them credit. On the original releases, I did all the design work, and though I consider myself pretty good, there is nothing like the quality that comes from specilization. The talents these guys bring fourth are helping us reach our goals of quality in a way that I couldn't have imagined when I first started doing this. It's a joy to contribute to retro-gaming with such great talent working with us.

Artists

The Timewalk team recently added a new member.

In the past, I've done all the box design work, and though I'm quite happy with most of my work, the new guy takes it to a whole new level.

His name is PAN

Check out his work here.

http://vgboxart.com/designer/Pan/...

He recently finished the upcoming box for Mega Man Ultra - and yes it is awesome. He also re-did the front box cover for Zelda Parallel worlds, and it to is AMAZING.

Happy to have him on the team.

Manual Designers

The manuals are now being done by two individuals. Both of whom are awesome.

The first
Nechestria who does the layout work for the NA e-zine. He is currently handling the NES manuals, and most recently did the manual for Super Mario World Return to dinosaur land. His work is fantastic and we're happy to have him on the team.

The second new manual designer is

Thamiel

He is also a NA member and hails out of Austrailia. He will be doing most of the SNES work, starting with Treasure of The Rudras. All I can say is that he does fantastic work, and for RPG manuals, which are tedious, we are lucky to have him.

Friends of Timewalk

Galvatyrne

An NA member and hailing out of Canada, Galvatyrne, though not a manual designer per-se, contributed about 95% of the manual design for New Ghostbusters 2, and did a fantastic job of it. He also frequently makes design suggestions, and came up with some fantastic new ideas for future big box games!

Gwyndion

Another NA member. Gwyndion is not a member of the Timewalk team, but frequently offers advice and guidance for us. Gwyndion is probably the biggest repro-collector out there and has every single revision of everything we've ever done. If you have any questions about our games, or just repros in general, he's the man to ask, as he will give you an honest review.

Inventory

All of the SNES titles have been restocked on the site. I will be working on re-stocking NES next week.

Next months release will be Treasure of The Rudras! The alternate art series is on hold as we await finished work from our new artist, but we expect it to be great.

Thanks guys!

-Spencer

Hi all,

Here is the news this month for things from the Timewalk Camp

For starters, most if not all of the Super Mario World Return to Dinosaur Lands, Sweet Home Halloween Editions, and Alternate Art boxes have been shipped from last months order. If you have not recieved yours yet, you should be recieving it any day now. Thanks everyone, that was a great run!

Reinstatement of previous releases

Due to demand for the older releases, I have added them back to the website.
You will  notice now on the site that most of the products are back on it, however they say "Sold Out". There is now a feature on each product  page that says, "notify me when this product is available". Basically, if you sign up for that, as soon as I ad inventory for that particular item, you will be e-mailed automatically when I place the item for sale.

Obviously the more requests I get for any one item, the more I am going to be focusing on that item. However, I do plan to get some of each game available, even if demand is low.

If you are interested in the older releases, please sign up for this, as it will help me to know what to focus on.

New Releases

This months focus will be on shipping the Ghost Busters 2 titles that we're pre-ordered last month, as well as making available the older titles.

New Releases will still be made each month. Ghost Busters 2 is technically this months new release.

Next month will be Treasure of The Rudras!

Thanks all!

-Spencer

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi All, here are the releases for this month, and a sneak peak of next book (ghost busters 2). Not pictured is Sweet Home CIB. Many of you have seen the box art I use for this so I did not post pics. This will be available next week so PM me to reserve.

The alternate art Mario is shown below as well. The artist I commissioned for this is Alejandro Vene. His goal was to pay homage to the older art in his style. Not recreate it. I like it very much.

Also, the paint process has been greatly improved on the carts as we have upgraded to an automotive sprayer

Super Mario World Return to Dinosaur Land - PM me to reserve - Available next week.

New Ghostbusters 2 - PM me to reserve. Available first week February.

Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt Alternate Art - Artist = Vene - Available next week

Since I released the original list I have gotten a large amount of requests and questions about new games. Because of this, I have made the decision to slightly modify the release schedule to revisit older titles that I have done to allow people to obtain these.

Please note, I really do not like changing the list, however I felt it was necessary.

Some games had to be remove from the list this year to make room, they will be moved to Early 2013, so long as the world doesn't end. Please note, I cannot move forward games based on impending Mayan planetary doom.

I estimate I can make about 40 games per month given my schedule. Big Box titles will not be revisited in Big Box form.

Concerning Alternate Art titles, they will be released in the following format.

New Box, with cart plastic and label already applied. Gameboard not included. The price will be 22.95

If you would like to reserve a title(s) please PM along with your name/address/alternate way of contacting you outside of NA. Payment will be requested when the game(s) is ready to ship.

What you mean these Super Metroid Redesigns?

Unfortunately this was a VERY limited run I did for members of my list. I didn't want to do very many since it's Christmas and I have a lot going on at the moment. I also promised them I would not do this again in Big Box form. I may entertain the idea of doing the CIB for it in the future but not the Big Box.

This is a neat list!  As of now, I'm mostly an NES guy, so I'll give you the games I'd like.

New GhostBusters 2
Mega Man Ultra
RECCA

Those are certain.  The following are currently on "sorta", and will decide on what the final product looks like.

Rockman No constancy
BB Earthbound
Radia
Time Diver (I already own Joe's, so yours will have to best his)

And these are currently on "not really unless you can REALLY persuade me", since I'm not too fond of minor ROM hacks.  Unless the ROM hack strips Mario of his clothes and beheads him, and makes him fight against Nazi penises.

Metroid Deluxe
Punchout
Atari Bros
X-Mas Mario
Bloodmoon

Assuming the aforementioned games are CIB games.  Thanks!
