You gotta admit though; he made that big boot more entertaining than it had been in years

Hey Bimmy,I have a question about one of the prizes....Maniac Mansion.
Is this the earlier release where you can microwave the hamster or a later run where they removed it from the game?

Sorry gutsman, I totally overlooked this question.  To be honest, I'm not sure lol.  For the prizes, I just clean and then test them for a few minutes to make sure nothing is seriously wrong with them.  I guess it will be a surprise to whoever wins Maniac Mansion   Speaking of which, whoever wins this game, let me know if you can microwave the hamster or not when you play.  I'm curious lol.

Lol,not a problem. Doubt I'm winning anything anyway, but I was curious as well. I've never played the game, but I've read stuff about that and the subsequent removal of it.

Well, even if I don't win, I must say, I've really had a blast playing this game. It was a great choice for the final round. I wasn't looking forward to it at all, either.

Thanks for writing. I apologize for the delay in responding to your email during this busy time of year.
In regard to your email, it is great to hear that you have found a copy of Perfect Dark for the Nintendo 64. Perfect dark was a first person shooter game that was released in May of 2000. I personally enjoyed this game a lot during my mid-teen years since it allows for up to four players to play at one time. All the Perfect Dark cartridges were black.

I hope this information is what you are looking for.

Response I received from Nintendo customer support when I asked if they knew any thing about a black Perfect Dark cart.

I hate having to go to work in the evening on Sundays...

Anyway, I just got this score less than 10 minutes ago on my final run. I never made it to level 4 before today and this was my only time I got to level 5 and also, to reach 6 digits too! When I did 25+ practice runs on this game several weeks ago, I couldn't even get to the boss in level 1. Needless to say, I don't care where I place since I'm proud of this score no matter what.

I had fun throughout this contest and I had more fun than expected this week too. Great scores all around everyone and it's been a pleasure to make the final 15 with all of you!

Ok, this is my real score. I was trying to wait to post it, but screw that. I know I'm not going to win.

Here's my final attempt. Kids are up from naptime, so the rest of the weekend is family time.

227,610 - Tier 3

This was my first time reaching the last level, so I had a tough time with it, being unfamiliar with the territory. Those bubbles!

Thanks for running this thing, Bimmy. It's been a great few months competing here with everyone, and it's made me enjoy my NES collection all the more.

Great idea! With another week, I'm pretty sure I could double my score or do even better.

This tournament has been a lot of fun and I wish it could go on for another week.  Can't wait to set up the second one at the end of the year and watch everyone compete all over again

Great score!! Even if I could beat it, I don't think I have enough time to get that far before 10pm.

Had finals for classes this week so it was tough trying to get practice in but I'm satisfied with what I got given my limit on time. Overall I had a great time competing with every one and good job with the scores. Looking forward to the next tournament!
