Okay, I have no idea what happened but I am forced to rescind this statement. Believe me, we here in Buffalo are rather shocked. Many of us did not believe they'd pull it together in time. Not that we will win the Cup - history has proven that God hates sports teams from Buffalo - but at least we can say that we've remained competitive.

Well looks as though the Hawks fate rests in Minnesota

They played a great game today, but came up just short. I have a feeling if we didn't have a rookie goalie we would have won that game.

I watched the game, seemed like the Offense really didn't show up either. The Wild seemed much more aggressive, prolly cause they were playing for nothing other than knocking out their old team.

I also play left wing . Honestly, after a point, the talent of the goalie really doesn't make that much of a difference. Just look at the NHL and save %ages when a "big difference" between goalies might be 10 goals out of 1000 shots. I haven't done statistics on it or anything, but I bet a lot of these differences could be due to chance rather than the talent of the goalie.
