It's just a thick cardboard, like you'd see on a store display. The back is blank and I don't know if there's any serial # for it.

It's just an old store display, from where, I don't really know. We got it a few years back in a trade with someone. Or it might have been free. I can't recall, it's been a while. I acutally considered trading it for a long time. It was on our trade list, but no one ever bit and I became more fond of it, since it was a relic.

Great collection though - bit messy but great!

I live with my parents, so no need to buy food or anything. However, I have a small job on Monday and I earn my video game budget there. That and reselling games (Yes, evil reseller). I'm in college as of now.

Yes, I know that place is messy as shit. I will properly organise it once I get my own house where I will be able to get a proper game room haha

I love your collection. It is amazing.
I'm creating a game room and I sent to the architect a photo of your glass display unit because I find it very nice and would love to have one.
Congrats on your collection, I hope to see another update soon.

I've gone back to working on my Game Boy collection, and it's just so much more fun than NES collecting. I'm a big fan of Game Boy too, so I try to beat every game I buy. I'm taking a bit of a break buying stuff until I beat a few more games. You may have noticed from what I have that I'm trying to get as many obscure, quirky GB exclusives as I can before anything else. I actually really like those types of games on GB, and if the GB maret ever gets bigger and more competitive, it will be nice to have these types of games already in my collection. I've been really enjoying playing everything I buy, and I'm looking forward to expanding into some of the more mainstream stuff later on.

Reached 37% (plus variants) on Gamecube tonight, so I figured I would share a picture of my progress on that front. Another 60 games aren't pictured here.

my Full PAL SET in perfect condition, no scratch, no flips, no yellow, all sticker is perfect like from store, yesterday i put whole collection in 360 protectors, 339 PAL B games, 8 PAL A exlusives plus few ntsc like mega man 6 and some games i have with different stickers, some of games i buy 4-5 times to get in perfect condition, also i spent tons of money on shipping like 3000-4000$ minimum , i need 1 year and 10 month to complete all in mint condition. Believe me guys in USA you will easyer collect 700-800ntsc carts then this, you don't have insaine price of shipping like we in Europe, and you have large country, also price of NTSC games is much cheaper and you can buy games anywhere online, garage sail, tons of retro shops etc etc....

Nice doors. Keeping dust out of the crooks and crevices should be easier since the carts are sunk deep into the shelves.

Do you want a pat on the back for your efforts....

Nah, I'm just messing. You should be happy that you don't live in Australia. Shipping to Australia is insane. It cost $10 to ship a single Game Boy cartridge from the USA. To get the set you acquired using the same means, you would probably spend double on the shipping.

How bad is it to resurrect old posts in a collections thread? Oh well, I'm doing it.

Brilliant work! Some of those shelves would definitely collapse using Tetris logic. It is such a simple design that you can add to over time.

You put the shelves we normal folk use to shame. I'd love to make an extravagant shelving unit that was both adjustable and was easy to maintain (ie no dusting or a lot less). All my stuff is hidden in drawers or veiled in cubby holes

Nice! but I think the fact the Stadium events is so much more expensive NTSC then PAL ofsets the fact that NTSC games are cheaper + Shipping (Just saying)

If we're just talking money the N TSC set would probably be more expensive just because of SE. However it should be noted that you can barely get any cart only PAL games for under 5€ (~6,50$). I'd say at least two thirds of the PAL B games are 15€ (~20$ and up) and that's if you're lucky enough to even find them all even online. I'd say that the chances of finding one of the Top 50 rarest PAL B games at a flea market or similar is one in a million. You know what the rarest NES game is I've ever seen in the wild? Terminator. That includes game stores by the way. It's probably harder to get a full NTSC set but it is way more frustrating to build up a PAL collection because you'll have to pretty much buy them all one by one from start to finish and pay for each and every one of them.

yes stadium events and maybe few of them , but instead that it's really easyer to find ntsc games , to collect pal b games and if you wish mint copy's you are in really big trouble, it's very hard to find and usa is larger  country you can buy games enywhere
