Getting a high score in this game is not easy.

I've made it to level 7 which is the second to last level and my highest score is around 70k.

EDIT: Okay, this time I did better. Still not enough for third place.

This part of the game absolutely sucks. Not only are there lots of enemies to knock you off the platforms, but you also have to fight the controls. I want to kneedrop an enemy on a platform but instead I do that stupid slide attack right into a pit.
It makes me not even want to play it anymore.

This game definitely suffers from control issues.

if you wait eventually those blue guys will appear closer to the left side you the screen and you can take them all out before you need to start making the jumps, the controls make things difficult but you can shoot the zombies with the one magic instead of knee dropping and then just make normal jumps

That's good to know that you can take out all the blue guys first, which should make that section easier. At least this game doesn't have infinitely respawning enemies such as in other similar NES games.

The controls for doing the knee drop (one of the most effective moves in the game) are just too close to the controls for doing the slide attack. This is a legit control issue that screws me over quite a bit.

EDIT: This strategy works. Just stay on the left until the blue guys are gone, and then you only have to deal with the zombies.

Participation yet again. But, I will be playing a lot more of this game. I hadn't played it before, and I dig it. Is it from the same people that made GI Joe? I'm seeing a lot of graphical and gameplay similarities.

People compare this to Shatterhand?!?!! This games controls are crap (select!?!) and hit detection is junk. Like I'm not close enough to kick the enemy but if I get any closer I take damage wtf!

Kickmaster is unplayable compared to Shatterhand imo.
