Man! I'm so mad, no way I can go . It looks like its going to be an awsome event. I wish it wasn't in september, I'll be starting my first semester of college by then.

Hope you guys have it again next year ...

I plan on coming down  maybe ngd can hook me up with names of a few hotels in the area. will be driving down after the football game friday night.  it would be cool if there was some way to drag the giant nes to the show for people to take pictures with.

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

Oh, um, NA moderators are required to attend (hey, if that works, then I don't feel guilty!)

Lol. Its pretty damn certain that I'll be going... I just don't have "confirmation" yet, is all .
Still trying to figure out what I'm going to do with my girlfriend, too. Because she wants to come

My wife is coming as well, so who knows, maybe some of the GF's and wives will get along enough to hang out.

I have a friend of mine coming with me. I also invited another friend of mine who lives a mere 5 miles from the expo site, as well...she'll probably show up at some point .

And now it'll likely be 2 friends coming with me. Btw, just out of curiosity...how many people have signed up for the expo already?

I just looked into bussing it. Greyhound costs about 250 bucks to deliver me to Knoxville, before tax. Takes somewhere between 19 and 26 hours, depending on the number of transfers (no express busses, I wonder why!) Just a heads up to other dudes in my situation and general location.

In any case, I told Roth I'd do my best to be there. And it looks like I have a real concrete option. So I guess I'll be there.

Anyone have a couch I can crash on for a couple of nights? haha

It's more to hang out with internet dudes than the actual expo, and I should be able to find rides on the shorter and of the sacle.

Bus rides = awesome. Best way to see the country short of driving across it yourself, IMHO . Hope to see you there.

There are only 9 confirmed and paid -- there are several that are teetering on showing up, and I'm sure I'll know more very soon. With TooManyGames cancelled we might get some runoff there, but we'll see. I was planning on attending TMG this year too, which kinda sucks. It seems that every expo so far I've planned on attending has been cancelled.

yep they have always wanted to do a semiannual thing but the relatively small community locally, combined with the big draw at DP over in NJ monthly, have made it hard to get going and keep solvent. Their promotion machine has become much better though and they're getting big enough numbers now to warrant a split - but now Chuck's been running into some undisclosed personal stuff. We'll see...
