***AUCTION WILL END TUES APRIL 3 AT 9:00:00 PM NA TIME***

Please read and understand everything before you bid!

Up for bid is Clay Fighter: Sculptor's Cut for the N64 CIB.

Box: easily 9/10. There is a Blockbuster sticker (from 1999) on the back covering the bar code. There's a very thin scratch down one side flap. One corner has some very minor wear. Some very tiny indentations on the front of the box. Included is a clear plastic box protector. The box inner cardboard is included.

Manual: Wow. It's mint. You won't find any nicer than this. Extremely rare.

Cartridge: Average shape. Front label has a small rip right by the "Cut" on the label. The back label is torn. Some tiny scratches on the cartridge plastic. Front label lightly discolored. I have opened it up to clean the contacts and it works great.

I've already had a LOT of PMs about this game and have received numerous offers. I've decided to do an auction to keep some civility to this process. The highest offer I have gotten so far is $750 so we will start the auction there.

At least $10 increments

*****If someone bids within the last 60 seconds, the auction will be extended by another 60 seconds to prevent sniping. If someone bids within that 60 seconds, another 60 seconds will be added. Basically I will let 60 seconds pass after the last bid and the auction will then end.*****

Shipping will be free in the US. International shipping will pay actual cost. I have shipped many games to Canada and Europe through USPS First Class International Parcel Post. It's usually around $10-$20. I will ship however the seller wants me to ship.

I accept paypal and cash if local pickup. Item in Chicago area. Payment plans will work but I will not ship until I get the full amount. See below for more details on payment plans.

This is my first NA auction but I've done lots of selling on ebay under rosenken with a 100% positive feedback.

Here's the picture album. Click on them for a larger size.

Good luck and happy bidding! PM me with any questions! I will take more pictures if wanted.

UPDATE:  I've had a few PMs concerning a payment plan. Since this is a big ticket item I'm willing to work with anybody. Here's what I require (if anybody has any better ideas please PM me)

1) Half the final amount will be paid upfront (within 4 days) as a deposit. $50 of this payment will be considered a non-refundable deposit. Please make sure you will have the money available!

2) The other half will need to be paid off within 3 weeks of auction close (April 24).

3) I will not ship out the game until I have received the full value.

4) If I don't receive the full value in time, I will refund all funds received minus the $50 non-refundable deposit. I will then offer the game to the next highest bidder at their big price.

Yeah I'll be out of town this weekend so I figured 7 days will work. That way if I get the payment that night I can ship it out the next morning.

That's your opinion and should be kept out of this guy's auction.  Here is definitely not the place to discuss that.

If he got an offer for $750 it's not a finders fee.

He bought the game from a retail store, so I'm sure he had to pay tax also. Not that it matters.

If it is too much for you then don't bid.

Yes, Chicago sales tax is 9.5%. Ouch.

An hour after I posted the first thread I had 15 PMs, people were sending offers, asking what the best offer was so they can better it, etc. The demand is very high, I figured this would be the fairest way to sell this. I won't knowingly let myself get ripped off to please someone I've never met.

It's economics guys. Buy low, sell high. Been happening for thousands of years. My wife is going back to college this summer to learn a new field. Gotta pay the bills somehow. Hopefully this will pay for 2 or 3 college textbooks

Thanks to those who are backing me up.

Dude, you don't owe anyone an explanation. It's your item, it's your sale, if they don't like it they can go F themselves.

Well put and kudos to you for holding your ground. I wouldn't go about this any differently. People on here sometimes forget that not everyone is entrenched into the community and that not everyone is in the business of doing favors.

i would take this over our 14.975% total (9.5 QST + 5% GST)

OT: good luck with the auction. i have no problem thinking it will fetch 850-900.

You deserve a premium on this, this is seriously the nicest copy I've ever seen. GL with the sale man, hope there's more action than just the opening bid.
