Hey fellows!

I am currently attempting to beat Premier Manager 64, for the NA beat every N64 game thread. However, I've never played a football management game before, and I'm not really into football that much anyway... this game is just a huge wall of stats and numbers and I have absolutely no idea what I am required to do to improve the performance of my team.

So, really, I just want to break this game down into a short series of easy and quick things I can do between each match to ensure I will win the league by the end of the season. Anything that can help improve my team or anything that will make winning much easier, please let me know if you have any ideas to help! Anything allowed by the game's mechanics, short of outright cheating, is acceptable to get a legit win.

Anybody got experience with this or similar games?
