Is this for real? Heh, the guy said he got these four games at a garage sale. Found it interesting that he didn't say anything spectial about the SE cart....I guess it's possible that he just randomly bought them and knows absolutely nothing about NES. If it's true, that's quite the extrordinary garage sale find!

I saw this yesterday, but thought it was unusual that the cart is hidden behind the others and it doesn't say which version it is.

Yeah, the picture indicates that it's the NTSC version though (the PAL version has the title "Stadium Events" written on two lines, whereas the NTSC version has it written all on the same line (as shown in the pic on ebay).

^Yeah, he told me that as well. It seems like it could be legit, but you always have to wonder when someone with only 10 positive feedback "happens" to find something that crazy at a garage sale.

Looks real. Is it just me or is the label torn?

yep it's definitely torn. And that makes me believe more than anything that it's 100% legit.

And this person is going to scheit themselves when the listing closes (if it gets that far).

I don't see any way that this auction makes it through to the end. If this seller REALLY didn't know what they had, the first big offer that gets thrown their way is getting taken (and I'm sure those offers are already on the table).

Actually, I'm glad it wasn't like this, or a reseller would have snapped it up for sure.  This way, (looks to see who the current highest bidder is) some guy named "braveheart69" can finally complete his collection!

I think he had 2. One CIB, one loose. I think the loose copy was sold to Michiganfan2. (If all of this information is correct, I am the ultimate message board creep)

LOL, Yes my NES collection is Complete Complete in BOX including US and PAL Stadium Events CIB. I dropped a bid on this in the first few hours to see how long it would go unnoticed. HA But to anyone thinking this is gonna go cheap, not likely seller said he has already had over 20 offers to end it now. ALSO PLEASE make sure to look at what you can see of the cart label. IT IS CLEARLY VISIBLE that it is ripped up pretty bad, hence why it is probably on the bottom as the seller obviously originally didn't know it was a rare game.

If this was found in the wild in SC (where the seller is from) that's another strike against the "NY-only test release" story that accompanies this game. Yes, collectibles migrate. But these have popped up, it seems, everywhere BUT New York.

A week or so ago, I read through every stadium events thread from the last six months. Lots of good information there.

You would think because it's ripped that it would go for a lot less... I think I'm wrong in thinking that because now a lot of people will assume it will go for less, bid as a result, and end up making it go for just as much. I considered bidding on this because of that initial theory, seeing as I still need the NTSC version, but I may wait to see how high it goes.

Wow now thats insane, im so glad i have this one outta the way, but i have dreamed for years about walking up to a stack of games on a table at a flea market or yard sale and slide off the first game, second, and then blam Stadium events. Man that picture looks nice.

Too bad the label is torn but its getting to the point where you have to take what you can get with this one anymore.

I have a PAL version of Stadium Event and I'm happy with that so I don't even bother to get the NTSC version.
I didn't understand how to play the game anyway...
But at least I can brag about having a SE
