Wow amazing luck there. Pretty asshole stunt by the owner and the attempted poacher. It's a shame that deals aren't agreements anymore these days until the money moves. The last few things I've found I've luckily had honor bound sellers who kept their word. Happy for you that you got EVO as it's a great game, shitty you had to drop another $120 just to get it.

Depending what you let go maybe I could help ya out a bit. I see a cheapy or two there I may like to put time on.

holy shit, I hit a big one on ebay today. and I can't post about it yet. it's going to be a long week waiting for the mailman :\

in the meantime, I also pulled this off ebay this week: cib Kickmaster, $59
http://item.ebay.com/350800213882...

still a good chunk of change but well below the going rate. the book has some wear on the cover, including a hole, but the box is very nice.

Not bad at all all things considered. By the way were you going to put those snes titles you weren't keeping in your sales thread soon? I saw the images were gone from this thread.

I gave a couple local friends first pick and they grabbed most of the stuff. I have a few items from that lot left, I'll let you know when I put them up in my fs thread.

and in other news, my latest grab hit the post office this morning so I'm ok putting up a teaser, because I'm too excited not to:

hint: it's a big one, but not that big.

It's here! and it works! Action 52 hooray!

gave it a good cleaning before firiring it up and it started first try. I've never seen the game run before, and the startup into is actually pretty impressive. But then you get the the actual games, and yeah they are terrible. Don't care, happy to have it.

here's the original auction: http://item.ebay.com/251281244122...

action 52, nes console, and a few other carts. $45 total.

I like how the seller just lists it as "Action". Great pick up!

So as a bonus, does the NES work? It sounds like it works fine, the games might just need a basic cleaning.

eBay sellers often list stuff poorly when they don't really know what they have. I just recently bought a Sega Master System with all cable, 2 controllers and five complete games for only 5,50€ of ebay because the seller made some stupid mistakes while listing the game. Sold one of the controllers and got all my money back. Always cool to find stuff this way

a friend called me up and said he was meeting with a guy selling some stuff and asked if I wanted to go along. of course I do, so away we went. The guy is a swap meet seller my friend has been acquainted with for a while and apparently he's giving it up or something. Didn't know what to expect as far as prices but it turned out good. I picked out some goodies for myself and a few pieces of trade bait.

Ice Blue N64 with matching controller, expansion ram and cords
Worms Armageddon (been wanting this one for a while!)
Gauntlet x2
Micro Machines
Diddy Kong racing
Super Castlevania IV
and the Z-Bag

$50 total

friend pretty well cleared out the rest of his NES through N64 stuff for fire sale prices, something 400-500 carts. the guy is coming back in a week or two with more stuff, notably 3 or 4 toploader systems I can't wait to get my hands on. I've been wanting to try an AV mod for a while and this should finally allow me to do that.

I've been wanting this one for a while: Wild Guns! hit the BIN on ebay for $140. even came with the manual. pretty happy with that - I have apparently saved somewhere from $50-200 on this one.

this popped up on the website for a regional store that has online ordering with all their inventory. They had it listed at $350, and I had a new user coupon code, so I ended up paying $300. Obviously it was a rental with the store name engraved, but it's in pretty good shape otherwise. With the way this title has been going I'm pretty sure $300 is still a solid deal. Happy to have this one knocked off the list.

This is funny, you got the game from the Game Chasers episode.

Mind blown on your ebay finds. Action 52 and more for $45 on ebay? Wow.

Every now and then I'll spend about 4 hours every day for a week or two on ebay looking for misspelled games but I've never found anything even with the massive time investment.

I Imagine the flashes on your avatar are not from lights but from cruising throgh the ebay at light speed!

two big packages came in today.

first up: ebay lot of manuals and other inserts.

highlights include rad racket, times of lore, kid klown, and the big one, power blade 2. of those, I only have a cart for pb2 (that I found earlier this summer, see posts). I'm super happy to have that one. just need a box now.

paid $17 for the whole lot
http://item.ebay.com/141044300688...

next up: some black box goodies from ebay

highlights include: complete big box stack up! shows some wear, but all the important bits are there afaik. hangtab is even mostly unpunched. really happy to have this one as I figured I wouldn't ever have it save for dumb luck (which was the case here). the complete gyromite is a sticker seal edition with a converter cart. it's pretty worn but I'm not going to complain about it.

cost a bit but I'm still well ahead at $173 for everything. no problem with that for stack up.

It's been a while. I probably forgot some stuff but oh well. This one was pretty random so I had to post it.

Saw this as it was listed the other day: http://www.ebay.com/itm/251454256...
I pretty well glossed over the whole Pabich thing so I wasn't sure what to expect but figured I'd roll the dice.

Well they showed up, and appear to be as advertised. Cheetahmen the Creation and Cheetahmen II the Lost Levels. Numbers matching, #1459 on each. Feels like $28 well spent.

Another big pull from ebay: complete Mega Man! Was not sure I'd ever have one of these considering the way i'ts been steadily climbing forever. Only issue is an impression in the back top corner but it's not too noticeable. Overall super happy with this one.

listed with stock photo and minimal description $50 BIN: http://www.ebay.com/itm/111400057...
