NintendoAge.com Approved !

Hey all, I wanted to introduce you to a new, less-expensive auction alternative dedicated to the hobby we all love - Video Games.

http://www.ChaseTheChuckwagon.com was launched on March 24th, 2008 and has quickly grown to 810 members (as of 8/23/08), most of which are collectors from Video Gaming Newsgroups & Forums. Despite our small size, there have been a number of very interesting auctions and most items are selling at or above what they would have sold for on Ebay. So if you are a seller, please don't let the small size fool you. We have lots of collector traffic and from 3-10 New Members signing up each day!

Be sure to tune in to our weekly home page feature "Auction Talk" to hear up-to-date site growth statistics as well as learn about new and interesting items recently listed for auction. Here is a link to the current episode:

http://www.chasingthechuckwagon.com/AuctionTalk.mp3

In addition to video game auctions we also have categories for Arcade Games, Pinball Machines, Handheld Electronic Games, Vintage Games & Toys, Music & DVD's and Pop Culture.

Everyone who registers will get a $5 Seller Credit to let you run a couple free auctions to try the site out. I look forward to seeing all you NintendoAge members jump on the Chuckwagon Bandwagon.

Thank you all!

So Cal Mike, Owner - ChaseTheChuckwagon.com

Just wanted to say to all those that might be a bit hesitant - SoCalMike really has his act together, he's made a secure and fully-fuctional site and has worked his butt off to attract some great collectors and in turn, some great items. I've been surprised at some of the pretty scarce things that have been sold there so far.

I'll be listing some things over the next couple of days - especially for interesting high-end items, his fees are unbeatable. All of you looking for a way to stick it to feeBay, here's your chance.

I've been thinking more and more about registering as the days go buy. There is no way in hell I would ever sell on eBay, but I was considering dumping off some of my Intellivision collection on Chasethechuckwagon.com, but decided against it because people were starting to buy off of me on the forums.

Still, though.. it seems to be a viable alternative for eBay. I'm sure I'll figure out some stuff to sell (and buy) in the future. In fact... I think I'll be joining soon.
Good luck with everything.

Thanks for your consideration.  I hope to see a few of your items on the Chuckwagon.  So far, sellers are having quite a bit of success.  The costs are quite a bit less than Ebay and you are starting with a $5 Credit so you can run an auction or two to try the site out.

You only can try "an auction or 2" for $5.00?  So, it costs $2.50-$5.00 to list one auction?  I think thats a little more than ebay, no?

Some people list arcade games and the like (expensive items).   Others may want to spend the $2 to have the item featured on the home page to see how that works.  Frankly if you list items and don't use any of the enhancement feature you could run quite a few auctions.   Just trying to cover all the basis

I've had the site bookmarked for about a month, and I've been too lazy to register. Looks like it's time to get motivated...
