I emailed him yesterday telling him to be careful of scam. I have 2 of that one and listed mine for like $29 opening bid a month ago and got NO BIDS!! My double box is almost mint too.

Heck yeah, I sold the manual out of it though on here. Probably dumb but I wanted to help a fellow NA'r. I have the game cart, box, dust sleeve, and foam. Cart is PERFECT and looks unplayed/untouched. Box is very strong and would be about MINT but there is a little bit of sticker residue on the back bottom where a sticker was removed that was covering the boxes UPC code.

I've had pretty good luck using goo-gone gel on boxes to remove sticker shit, without damaging anything. The cardboard will appear darker for a little while, but once it dries, it's like nothing was ever there. I've even removed stickers from manual covers with the stuff with no damage!

I dunno... I'd be careful about using any kind of chemical cleaner on any sort of paper product. It will leave some sort of chemical residue behind, and you don't know how it will react with the paper long term. Who's to say the dark circle doesn't reappear in 5,10,20 years as the chemical and paper react?

I was looking to just buy it along with (hopefully) the F2 manual, but see if you can capitalize on the high price of the other one first..............that's probably your best bet.

Nick, taking your advice I finally got in a lot of manuals with a Bomberman II manual in it. Unfortunately it has stiker residue on front and back of it but it is complete and untorn, etc. I have put it with my Mint cart and near mint box and it will go live on eBay at 4:30 Pacific time. It's on there now with delayed start time. Opening bid is less than just the box should go for in this condition. My box is better shape than one that went for $232.50. Unfortunately if you look at bid history on that one only two people bid over $22 bucks on it. The winner and Bidder #6 so mine will probably go dirt cheap to whoever #6 is. Unless you snipe his a**, LOL!

The high bidder 1361andrewj, is the guy who has been winning all sorts of CIBs for way high prices. I also am pretty sure he was the runner up bidder on the previous Bomberman II auction that just ended. People like this piss me off. Now everybody is going to think Bomberman II is a $100 game for the next few months due to this jackass.

well, I can appreciate that its annoying if you're trying to win a bomber 2 yourself but guys like this rarely stick around long term. You'll get one at a reasonable price sooner or later

While its true he might have ran up the other auction, this auction must have been run up by someone else.

I still dont believe this title is worth anywhere near that amount though. Just the flavor of the week, apparently.

When I bought mine it didn't have the book and the guy claimed it was worth over $150 CIB. I got it without book for $60 something. I later got another one for around same price CIB. I must say a Mint box for this one is very hard to come by IMO but I wouldn't pay $100+ though. In truth the guy winning mine right now IS the guy who came in 2nd on the last one for $225. Cool by me since I have my mint collection copy and this one for sale. That whole COMMIE thing bronty was making fun of me for... :-)~
