I'm playing through Acme Arsenal now, great game. Got about 7 hours into it this week.

That's amazing! Was the title not stated in the listing anywhere so no one saw it in their searches? That's an incredible deal.

Mensa is the gem. Funny thing with this title is at one point K-Mart had these on sale for $10 each new. Know a few people that stacked up on these. 

 

These were hyped up to $250 and $300 at one point, now they barely break $100. Still worth $20 obviously but the interest in this title has waned considerably.

When researching it I saw that groupon sold about 880 copies at $12 each back in 2012. I bet we see sealed copies come up for the next two decades as people clear these out in garage sales.

Nonetheless, with the other games in there this was basically free so I'm not complaining. Recent ebay sales show $90-120 for a complete used copy. Not too shabby.

Oh yeah there are a ton of new copies people don’t care about and don’t see value in them. These reminds me of a GameBoy title Pocket Professor. This was said to be crazy rare and was demanding $500+ from collectors never thinking a sealed copy was possible. Then boom a bunch of sealed copies pop and sell for under $500. Then a ton of copies show up and bam $20 sealed. 
 

Interesting how these things workout. I've read with American Mensa Academy had less than 5000 total produced/sold. Was pocket professor similar?

Would need to look up the numbers but believe it is probably along those lines. Pocket Professor was distributed to school and learning centers through educational supply companies. So not many schools got behind the idea of PP. Once the distribution centers decided to discount them a bunch of private collectors contacted them and bought up all the copies at $10-$20 each. 

Its not unheard of for things that are thought to be crazy rare have the market get flooded. Cheetahmen II comes to mind, as well as the insane amount of Aladdin deck enhancer and games found at one point. If i recall correctly it wasn't long ago someone found like a ton of Math Patrol:The Kleptoid Threat all sealed and that game was considered very hard to find complete or sealed at the time.

Nice find. I haven't seen this title in quite some time but had no idea it had dropped so much. I sold mine for $370 a couple of years back.

Ended up selling it for $125 on ebay. I'm not disappointed. Probably could have gotten a bit more, it was gone in under an hour
