LOL, I got the shipper box from launch day. It can hold 6 boxed NES CE units. It has the "do not sell before 11/11" sticker on it.

Well it has a best offer option, so you can assume he doesn't expect $50k.

They also have a ton of other great stuff for sale, many others with a $50k/best offer option, so it's likely part of a strategy to get word of mouth going (which you're helping by posting it here)

Well, I'm not sure where to post this but it looks like alepreviter_0 on eBay engages in shill bidding for some nice, rare collectible stuff and, of course, some nice games.

He he has an auction out for Final Fantasy III and Chrono Trigger in nice condition, and with the PCBs being shown in the pictures, and his feedback rating checks out. I made a high bid and within 24 hours it got bumped to the near max. After fishing around his other auctions and looking at the bidder stats, sure enough, he has plenty of accounts that have a bid percent in the 10-25% range.

I retracted my bid and I might try again in the last few seconds but, come on. Activity like this just further solidifies that if I can't snipe, I shouldn't try at all.

That's the way I do it unless it's something I don't really care about losing.  The sniping or not bothering, I mean.
