About 2 weeks ago i went down through Hagerstown to visit my aunt who was in the hospital. On the way down there i discoverd a new pawn show called Washington Street Pawnbrokers. It was closed at the time, but i told my girlfriend "woah sweet another pawn shop, im gonna have to come down here and hit this up" now i just got an email from the seller>>

" Hello I have nothing to do with Salvation Army. My name is a play on words: Salavatin' Army. I found this game at Washington Street Pawnbrokers in downtown Hagerstown."

Yea i felt like puking all over my keyboard lol. Ughh man those kind of things hurt. Now im so angry i missed out on it im gonna win this just to pretend i didnt miss out on it. lol Yea i plan to bid higher than NGD's predictions. he said i could do a local pickup as well so hopefully it will all work out. but man if i was just able to discover this pawn shop sooner ;-(

That is a heartbreaking story parpunk.  I wouldn't even had asked the guy, sometimes ignorance is bliss.  That would eat me up inside.

I'm bidding 10,000.00. You shouldn't advertise your max bid, just kinda charges the others up in a way. I tried for a side deal with no luck, I will be stepping aside until the next one.

thanks a lot langen, and yea after hearing my terrible bad luck story i hope inick will do the same lol. no need to blow the price up on one of these until we all get one. i believe lynxsolaris bought the last one for $299.99 and he was the only bidder, (that was the sellers starting bid).

These have gone for over 400$ before and as low as 150$ in a well advertised auction...the price fluctuates widely on this. And although I was almost positive this wasn't going to go for cheap, I think this post is certainly going to effect the final price.

It makes you wonder how this got there...it's from Florida, NY from a shop that closed a while back.

not sure if you guys remember when I first came to this board
that I had a bunch of nes games being ebayed

I had bought them from a mom and pop store going out of business back in 1998 and forgot I even had them
but I had purchased them for 5$ a piece, the guy had a ton more including systems new in the box including the rob system
if I had known how collectible the stuff to be, forget about it...lol

I just went to a mom and pop store up the block from where I work and they had a few mint condition action figures from the blackstar cartoon series sitting in the display case

now remember this is from 1981...I dont think any store is selling this for 3 or 4$ (the owners of the store are in there 80's in case your wondering)

the point is goto small towns and you'll find interesting stuff...lol
