Anyone know of a dependable site to purchase Sega Genesis reproductions and translations? Looking for stuff like Gley Lancer, Alien Soldier, and Zero Wing. Things like that that never say U.S. release. I know Coinhaven has thenesdump.com which is a great site and source for my nes titles but is there something similar for the genesis? I would love to have hard copies of some of these games for sure.

I've gotten stuff from him before but the month wait time is crazy. For repros on the nes, I prefer Coinhaven for sure. Any other places that I might be missing, his genesis selection is really lacking.

Genesis repros pop up from time to time on Digital Press. Mega Man Wily Wars, Alien Soldier and Wonderboy IV are the usual suspects and they are made with box and manual as well.

If you PM me, I will tell you to go away, especially if you're trying to mooch my games.

Don't go to a website, PM user "electrochip" on either Digitpress or sega-16. His stuff is top notch, always comes with a reproed case with artwork but no manual. His price is $45 a game, and I know where you can get some reproed manuals if you are interested in those too.

Digitpress FS thread:

Sega-16 FS thread

I got my Mega Man Wily Wars from him, excellent condition. I'm pretty sure he'll have Alien Soldier in stock as well, not sure of the others.

The Sega-16 thread is a long read, but basically he said he might be getting out of the repro game because some asshole was buying his repros and selling them at over 100% markup on eBay. Buying up 4-5 copies from him then selling them at $100 a piece on the bay.

That was a few weeks back, I doubt he'd completely stop making games for that reason but you never know. I'd get in touch with him ASAP.

Gamereproductions seem to have some pretty good prices (4 for $100.00 NES repro's NICE), but like you said SamSpade, a month wait time is pretty crazy...those kinds of wait times make me think my games are never coming.

Check out this really awesome WTB thread that I found, I heard this guy wants games at the cheapest rate possible!  Now on the look out for Unlicensed NES!
