Aight well please read through this before you scroll down and check out the pictures. So I go into my local Fleamasters Fleamarket to visit this store called Mario World, now most of the stuff she sells is WAY overpriced for the dumb games like zelda and mario 3 and such, but on the rarer games you can get a pretty good deal on them. So there was a copy of Mario's Time Machine she had CIB for $30 I had been thinking about, so I go to get it today and have a look around at what else she has. I look at some more of the boxed games and spot some hang tabs sticking out, I look again and sure enough its Battle Toads and Double Dragon sealed with hang tab and all for $35. So I snatch that up along with time machine, and just for the heck of it I decided to glance through the lose carts and as I start from the top I see somthing that catches my eye, I do a double take and can't believe what I see, Flintstones Surprise at Dinosaur Peak. So I pull it out thinking man this has got to be a lot, I look at it says $15 on it. As you can imagine I was so thrilled I wanted to start jumping up and down, but the lady was standing right near me and I did not want her to know it was worth so much, so I kept my cool and held the cartridge tight in my hand with a death grip so nobody would be able to take it. Anywho I get home and test it out and sure enough it works, everything was in great condition and I could not be happier right now.

Let me know if you ever open the Battletoads/Double Dragon. I still need that one for my list.

"It's always amazing to me how some of the most worthless games from a gaming perspective tend to fetch outrageous amounts of money. But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

Hey justin freakin amazing scores Bro! congrats again, and glad you finally became a member of this site to share them with us. Gives us all hope that (like limbo said) there ARE still deals to be found. This actually brightened up my horrible day of flea markets, when all i came back with was a freakin RF switch and a loose game genie LOL ugh the horror.......

WTB Cdn sealed black boxes, sealed Cdn first party titles.    I.e. the "mattel" Cdn boxes with both french and english.   Mainly black boxes, zelda, link, and tyson, but let me know what you have.    I am interested in anything I don't already have!

Jared, that's what I'm working on right now. I'm going to put it up on GameFAQs, but they need it to be larger. I believe I'm around 55 items away from the desired file size. If you want to view it, PM me your email address and I'll send the file to you.
