This thread's managed to break 100 posts, so I figured it's time to outline what's happened since the first post:

• 6 Trades
• The item's gone up to ≈ $48
• I've made 56 posts (including this one, excluding all the time's I've updated the main post.
• There's been exactly 2000 views of this thread
• We've had only about 3 stale points where no one was offering
• 4 of the goals I put up for laughs actually turned out to happen.
• I've been able to scrape off Pac-Man, the labelless GBA games, and Blades of Steel (which got traded for Yar's Revenge)
• 0 simple "Bump!" posts have been made

A lot has happened in the past 100 posts, so here's to future trades and 100 more  

Everything just seems to be lining up perfectly, along with this trade-up reaching 100 posts I've been able to evolve into a Meka Chicken with 500+ posts. I made a short thread for the occasion, so now I'll have to do something better for 1k posts. Anyone up for another paperclip?  

Hope everyone had a good weekend, for me I got my SS gift today and spent most of the day beating the games I got. So while I'm still in the spirit, Merry Christmas everyone! And Hanukkah starts tommorow if I'm remembering this right, so happy eight days of presents to you guys too. Kwanzaa isn't until after Christmas, but happy that too. This could've been much simpler if I'd just said happy holidays, but as you can probably tell by the length of this bump I don't care to shorten things.  

So out of everyone who looks at this we've got the people who check on this every time there's a new post to see whatever I have to say, the people who check in every so often to check in, and the people who've checked this out anywhere from not at all to once or twice. Out of all of you at least one of you has to have some interest in a DS Lite, so which one of ya is it?

Hmm. to be a part of forum history or not to be? that is the question.

That is indeed the question; I'd say history would be if it gets up to modern console/cheap arcade cabinet range, or if someone thinks it's gone far enough for a pin ( ). I'd think either way the item would have to be around the same general price, and that'll take a while to get to. This'll get there one step at a time, starting with getting this DS out to someone who wants it  .

I suppose selling the DS to get something else more desirable to trade is out of the question.

Yep, selling is out of the question, it's much harder to go up finding a deal than to go up with a trade. Someone will trade for the DS eventually, I'm pretty sure the Paperclip guy had waited a year or something for one of his trades.

Keeping it short and simple today, does anyone have any degree of interest in this DS Lite and/or the game?

Have a random bundle of games and manuals with a rough estimate of $50 or so. May be harder to get a bundle like this traded vs your ds and game but figured i would throw it out there if you want!

Four days until christmas, closer to three if you count the hours, and while I can't pull the holiday gift sham anymore I am still determined to get this to someone who wants one! Eventually someone for some reason or another will want/need one, and I'll be here to help them out

I haven't been doing as many bumps (at this point I'm figuring this is just a daily subscription spam to some people's email), but I have been messaging people with their own FT threads and seeing if they'd be interested at all in this. Nothing so far, so for now it's just waiting for someone who needs a DS Lite to come across this. I also have a few other ideas in mind if this goes on for to long, but again that'll only happen if this lasts for a while.

Okay, guess you guys aren't real big sports fans, dualy noted. Everything's the same with the DS, everything's the same with life, and just as it has been no offers have been made and no offers of mine to other's threads have been accepted. I think the paperclip guy went a full year or something without someone offering him a worthwhile trade, but if we keep going for anywhere near that long I may just put it up for offer or auction on here and see how much it'll go for. Then I'll search around a bit for a deal on here or ebay or goodwill or somewhere else and put that up, and we'll be all good again.

So my idea is looking better and better   and screw the Red socks!
