For what it matters I believe you think you have the facts based on what you're being told. Most replies in this thread are from out of the area or out of state people entirely so they really have no true input on the situation and will just decide what they wish to believe no matter what you say. Short of going back and getting all of in writing, audio recorded, or a video of it which isn't going to happen it just is what it is.

Do what you think is best. Rat em out on youtube or start a website with it or something. They could complain or not, but they can't do a damn thing unless you're printing libelous crap.

Buying a rare game to flip is different than buying stacks of the same game and clearing out an entire store. I know i dont have concrete evidence like an ebay seller account, but I have multiple accounts of people telling me the same things and a couple of them direct sources and not hearsay. People can believe what they want. Again if you read the beginning of this thread. Im not jealous, Im not mad they resell, it upsets me that they take donations, and speak one thing, get all the perks of retroware tv coverage and "celebrity" and are hypocrits. On top of that coming to my town 3 hours away going to my flea markets and buying a vendor out. Dont have any money my ass. Its all show. And to all the comments playing devils advocate so hard that its possibly denial, there is a chance Im wrong. Theres also a chance that Im part hispanic, but the odds are heavily favored that Im the whitest dude you may know.

From what I've seen in this thread I think they're into more than just picking / the usual reseller territory. To me, mining retail stores for multiple copies is something that would only be feasible if they ran the convention circuit (i.e. setting up at an anime convention where the prices might even be 2x-3x ebay). Even in their vids you see them pick up stuff like Earthworm Jim for $6 (which is hardly worth flipping from an online standpoint) so it goes to figure that they must have a face-to-face storefront somewhere + some inside track knowledge of which games will sell at a mark-up.

Maybe Pat will weigh in on this and give his take on the situation.

Not really speculation when one store told me they spent that much money and what they bought. I dont have 1st account evidence. But these two instances along with my cousin in little rock telling me what the stores in his town said to him about them.

and bearcat......im sure they they are nice....im sure they are hardcore gamers, but dont be a hyporcrite about it. I doubt pat has gone on game purchases with them. They live in different areas and hang out at convention stuff apparently. I doubt they would even speak to him about reselling. This is something minor, I dont care about reselling. I dont care that they find stuff at places I go. I do care that they lie about it, and reveal places in their videos about places I like to go and tip off employees to rarities who usually wouldnt know the difference or wouldnt even care besides the money.

All I know is that Pat makes 1996 nWo wrestling style promos for Retroware TV with them. At least I thought this was pretty funny: http://thepunkeffect.com/?p=3313...

Reseller shows like this are hurting collecting. They make people that have no interest in video games buy every game they see, thinking they can make a fortune on it. It just makes a not so cheap hobby even more expensive, and makes it damn near impossible to find games at yard sells and flea markets. I don't care to see people buy video games, but do care to see some greedy know it all who has no intentions of keeping any of the games they buy, getting everything they see just to sell. Now if those guys bought a box of NES games and just sold what they had or didn't want thats fine, but buying it just for profit not keeping anything annoys me. It kills any chance of someone who wants the stuff getting it for a good price. Reseller shows about video games, and reseller shows showing video games needs to stop. It just gives people who don't know what the stuff is the wrong idea.

First of all, then hate all the trade in stores they are buying it from then too. They are in figurative way ripping people way off. Reselling, I dont care about. I do care about them being hypocrits, and making game stores aware of whats rare when before they didnt care, and increasing their prices because of these stupid assholes, and then telling the world about these great locations just for the youtube celebrity. Good for the store. Bad for the consumer. Going out looking for stuff is not as easy as it looks. It takes time and money. Not worried about non video game people buying and selling video games

Broken record off.

Interesting, seems daywalker there is another independent confirmation source that's an NA member being told the same stuff and seeing the same damage. Blows doesn't it? My grounds go ruined a year ago by the same kind of shmuckery, the difference being my jerk didn't run a youtube channel. My jerk instead resold under peoples noses until they caught on forcing him to leave and instead open up a shop over the border in Tijuana where his mexican wife has family. Now he hits all the fleas rotating in the county each week picking off stuff to sell down there for mass profit apparently.

When a game sells for $1,000,000.....we'll make that comparison legit.

Granted i don't know of any collector who hasn't sold off some of there collection when in need, ran out of space or just dupes but this kind of large scale reselling is very hyprocritical considering the stance they always preach. Someone needs to get cracking on their own video "Game Chasers Exposed" if all that has been said in this thread is true.

It's not shocking though. Wherever there is a hobby that can pull in some serious cash there will always be people buying things for pennies on the dollar and reselling for insane mark-ups.

Its ok rest assured knowing that they dont make really that much money off their show and now they look like tools to the collecting community at large.

My theory on what happens is that they film there show with the intent of finding not so much but every once in awhile getting something. And then go off on reselling trips as well where there is no camera at all. What you see in most videos is probably true about what they find etc, but they do so much more behind the scenes on a different trip. I know smokinjoe here on NA frequents that arkansas store often in there last vid along with several other people on here. Im sure they were going back there to buy up alot of stuff. Thats why they stopped in my town too.
