I am a long-haired metal dude who used to work in the video game industry three separate times:
1) in the 90's at Sierra Online
2) I ran my own professional game review web site &
3) I did sfx and original music for an indie game.
However, I have a confession to make, I really wasn't a Nintendo fan until recently. As a young kid, I skipped over the NES and went straight to the mighty Commodore 64. Then out of college, working at Sierra it was all about MSDOS and Windows 95/98...so I skipped consoles through the 90's. However, now as I run my YouTube retro gaming channel, I am discovering many classic Nintendo games for the 1st time, and loving it!
Here's a link to my video game collection, which currently stands at around 1,250 games.
