Hi,

My name is Joshua Hallaran and I’m a one man developer in Australia. I have just released a new app called ‘16-Bit Game Quiz SNES Edition’, available now for free on the App Store, and I thought that some NA members might enjoy it. I apologise if I shouldn't have posted this, or if I put it in the wrong sub-forum. If so, please just remove the topic =)

As you may have guessed, it’s a quiz app that asks players to name over 200 Super Nintendo games. I collect and enjoy retro games, so I designed this app for those that have a similar passion.
It can be found here if anyone's interested: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/16-bit-game-quiz-snes-editio...

The game features an open structure. Players can tackle the first nine levels in any order they wish - if they get stuck on one, they can easily switch to another. Their first goal is to name half of the games in every level and collect the Nine Keys. These will unlock the final, most difficult, level. But that's not the end - there are still over 100 games to name, as well as 30 achievements to unlock!

If the player gets stumped, they can use Hint Stars to get information and clues. Hint Stars are rewarded whenever the player correctly names a game, but can also be purchased in large quantities through micro-transactions.

There are also some free bonus content updates coming in the near future.

Thanks for looking, and I hope that anyone who downloads the app enjoys it!

I've been playing it for a little bit and the game is fun and I like the concept, but it gets a little laggy when loading pictures sometimes. Also, I'm not a fan of the ads popping up after 3 or 4 pictures, but aside from that it's a neat little game

Thanks guys, I really appreciate you all taking a look!

@Vcube: Sorry about the ads - unfortunately, they're a bit of a necessary evil. The best quiz games I looked at used that 3-4 transitions count, and most users didn't seem to mind too much, so I decided to follow suit =)
